Welcome to another mix from your girl, Just P!

This mix includes some new additions to my music library as well as some songs that I have enjoyed playing out lately. I have included both originals and re-edits Reggeaton to Afro House songs. Quite a few of the edits I have found on SMASHA official's Soundcloud page - I highly recommend for you to check it out as there are some gems on there!

Summer is soon over and it has been a very exciting one for me. I have had the chance to play a few giggs at Brixton Jamm and Prince of Peckham here in London. I have also now my own radio show at Mode London. I am excited about what the rest of the year has to bring!

I was so happy when I received an email from her saying that my mix is COLDDDDDDDDD

She is an absolute queen here on the London scene (she bloody DJ'd with Kaytranada a few weeks ago!) so her comment means the world to me.

I didn't win unfortunately but that's okay, coz now I got this mix to showcase.

This is my second show as a part of my residency at Brixton Radio!

In this show, we got @smoovekriminal as a guest. He is a DJ, and producer who has been around in the music scene for over a decade and is an absolute legend!

He blessed the show with a 30-minute guest mix filled with exclusives and we also went b2b!

This one is for my percussive heads enjoying them kicks and snares, the mix is filled with ama piano, afro house and UK funky house :D

In this show, at my Brixton Radio Residency, I've got a very special guest @lateefah-dj !!

She's my DJ sister whom I met over TikTok last summer and together we have been sharing the ups and downs of this DJ journey that we have been on together!

Expect more chilled vibes in the first hour of the show and then we turn the heat up in the last hour!

In my November show at Mode London, I got LJ Shellings @user-600491312 in the 30-minute guest mix segment and we went b2b for 1 hour at the end of the show!

This show has been in the plans for about 6 months so was good to finally meet LJ Shellings and share big vibes!

LJ Shellings discovered me through TikTok and eventually, we connected over Instagram. He also runs a brand called Akin and he also invited me on the Akin takover G-Shock radio which was aired at the end of November!

Be ready for thumping house, wobbly garage baselines and long build ups!

Next up on our mix series @justpbxn. We had her down for our show back in July and she killer her set so we had to get her onboard!

Just P started as a bedroom DJ in 2016, where she worked on her craft and with her passion for DJing, she was able to elevate herself into the public domain by 2022. Her fresh outlook does not bind her to one genre which allows her style to seamlessly blend between various global dance sounds. In the past year, she has played for different nights such as @baileldn, @looneychoonz, and @funky_adjacent. One of her mixes was also featured on @arthi.nachiappan @rinsefm show. She holds different radio residencies @moderadio.london and @brixtonradiolive hosting monthly shows where she regularly invites guests.

The mix features an energetic blend of new tunes, newly discovered gems and old favorites. Building up the energy throughout different bpm's and genres such as Ama Piano, Afro House, Baile Funk, UK Funky House, Garage and Jersey Club.

Ooooh gosh, in this show we got the producer and DJ @misterrcha !!!

This guy is full of energy and good vibes! We met at a open decks in the summer of 2023 where we basically started to MC and rap over every track :D

He supplied us with a fire fire 30-min guest mix which followed with a crazy b2b! Every time we go b2b we really go into the depths of our usb's and sampled all the genres so be ready for the HEAT!!!!

In this months Mode London show I had producer and DJ @elmioriginal as a guest 🔥 

He absolutely shelled it with a 100% own productions 30 min mix! This guy is a machine with producing new tunes! I would say his sound is very Kaytranada inspired and he also often includes different Somali samples. He also makes some sick edits that you can catch in the mix 🤌

We also went b2b in the last hour!

Funny story is that @elmioriginal and I actually studies together at uni on a completely different subject then music so its amazing how life goes and years after graduating he is a guest on my radio show!
