Following the success of Pitto's album "Objects In A Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear" on GREEN, we've waited excitedly and impatiently for new material from the blooming artist. With his new multi-layered single “Shadows” Pitto once again elegantly entertains our senses. The beautiful melody played by Woodie S, together with the continuous clicking pattern and synthesised bassline create a sublime piece of audio that has an almost supernatural perspective.

The introduction of vocals accentuate's the echoes of the lyrics adding another dimension to the Johannes Brecht Remix. While Edwin Oosterwal’s Dub adds further depth creating a chilled vibe by intensifying the other-worldly state of the original.

On August 22nd, 2014, Motor Entertainment will release a couple of remixes of Parasite Single‘s track “The Hunt”. Northern German music producers the Micronaut and Mollono.Bass (whose remix will be premiered by trndmusik) contribute one remix each. “We are always up for club music and wanted to make danceable music”, say the band members about the remixes. (...) They got in contact with Mollono.Bass and the Micronaut as part of the 3000 Grad family.

Am 22. August 2014 erscheint ein Remixpaket zur Nummer “The Hunt”, die von der Band Parasite Single produziert wurde. Dabei steuern die norddeutschen Produzenten the Micronaut und Mollono.Bass - dessen Remix bei trndmusik Premiere feiert – jeweils eine eigene Version zum Werk von Christian Seim und Jasmins Quach bei. “Wir hatten immer Lust auf Clubmusik und Interesse, tanzbare Musik zu machen”, so die Band über die Idee für die Remixe. Fresh from remixing Foreign Guest’s recent single ‘Rek’ for Berlin’s Crossfrontier Audio, London-based producer Rashid Ajami is proud to present his inaugural EP for Noir Music ahead of its release on September 25th. ‘Night Prayer’ ft. JAW - complete with two remixes from Parisian trio dOP - taps into the distinctive, deeply-resonant sound that first saw Ajami catch the attention of influential tastemakers Anjunadeep back in early 2013. 

Centred around a deep, peak-time groove, ‘Night Prayer’ first and foremost exhibits Ajami’s flair for writing song-based music. Gentle, percussive layers and short bursts of melody provide the perfect foil for JAW’s hazy, dream-like vocal flow to take centre stage to lucidly mesmeric effect. Beautifully balanced and squarely aimed at the dance floor, it’s abstract, prayer-like composition also means it has legs away from the club too, reinforcing Ajami’s ability to produce records that connect in both different ways and crucially, spaces.

Backed up by a pair of remixes from revered beatmakers dOP - one a deeper, tech-leaning vocal rework and the other a stomping, melody-laced instrumental dub - ‘Night Prayer’ represents some of Rashid Ajami’s best work yet, adding to a growing discography that already includes releases on Anjunadeep, Cajual, Kittball and Armada.

Kaltehand / Natasha Waters are a duo from Switzerland and play some huge, sombre and mysterious pop. Their music is a sibylline animal, a nebulous beast that grows inside you, little by little, and which leads you deep into a forest of tall, gigantic trees old in years and in the stories they tell. Black magic stalks in the flamboyant obscurity of Natashas voice. She becomes a powerful and evocative presence. A brand of electro pop that recalls PJ Harvey and Portishead.
