In an age of quick gratification and the instant attention switch, Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez is a name respected for both quality and consistency.

Over the last 25 years, the four time Grammy-nominated DJ and producer has been astounding audiences across the world with his fusions of house, hip-hop, Latin, jazz, funk & soul, reggae, alternative pop and broken beats. By releasing literally thousands of original tracks and hundreds of remixes, Kenny has earned a reputation as a living encyclopedia of beats as both a solo artist, and as one-half of the legendary house duo, Masters At Work alongside "Little" Louie Vega and, not to mention, a 50,000 strong record collection.

Alongside being a DJ and producer, Kenny also holds the title of record label owner with Dopewax and Kay-Dee Records, the former originally focused on Kenny's own raw, beat records and evolved to hosting more vocal fare, and the latter being a landing pad for re-recording and releasing of rare and classic music.

Throughout his career, Kenny admits there were times when he wasn’t inspired to create music because of what was dominating the new direction of sound. However, learning to listen without prejudice has allowed him to continue to discover new styles, artists and musicians, and keep his love for the music alive. Kenny stays inspired and motivated not by doing what he likes, but doing what he loves. This is what makes his music timeless.

Was war das eine für eine grandiose Geburtstags/Abschieds- feier...
Ab der ersten Minute bereits verliebt und verzaubert vom Ambiente. Klar und sauber hallt der Bass auch in die letzte Ecke der Halle. Draußen herrscht eine "festivalartige" Atmosphäre.
In der Chilllounge lädt ein bequemes Sofa zum Verweilen ein, die Weinbar reizt mit einer "Mädchentraube".
Professionell - von der dezenten Dekoration über das Equipment, bis zu den schmackhaften Beilagen bei Speiß und Trank.
Insgesamt betrachtet ein rundum gelungener Abend, an den wir uns gerne zurück erinnern.

Mit diesem Set verabschieden wir uns von unserem treuen Weggefährten Finn. Für drei Monate bereist er (gemeinsam mit zwei guten Freunden) das bezaubernde Kanada.
Wir wünschen von Herzen alles gute, eine schöne Zeit und jede Menge unbezahlbarer Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen.
Wir sehen uns dann in alt bekannter Frische wieder <3

It all began when DJ Feldweg was about 10 or 11 years old. Little Jan from Nordhessen heard the first CD with electronic music of the Loveparade in the 90’s, which his father always heard and it is was happened.  The fascination was in his mind. Since this key experience  he dreamed of to be an DJ. 
He was already an passionated music collector all the time in every kind of Genre, but especially electronic. 
A lot of time passed  and even his festival experiences changed his mind for awesome performances and multifarious great music stuff. 
The dream came true as he has met some DJ guys. With this new connection he has new opporttunities in theory and practice of mixing music. After a while he joined a new aspiring collective „Spulenigel“(2017) which is based in Gießen. With this background he got the possibility for his first Gigs on Open-Air raves and little clubs of Gießen.
His Idea of mixing music is like : „The sound has to groove and connect different Genres with each other! Music connects People in this way...thats the mission."

Auch wir sind nicht unversehrt am Corona Virus vorbei gekommen, sodass die letzten Monate so einige Veranstaltungen abgesagt werden mussten und Füße still halten angesagt war. Nachdem wir die Zeit für eine besinnliche Pause genutzt haben, regt sich so langsam aber auch bei uns der eine oder andere Plattenfinger wieder. Dieser Kandidat hat es keine Sekunde länger ausgehalten. Die #28 bringt euch aus dem Shutdown: Mein Freundchen

Seit nun über 10 Jahren schon ist Paolo Freund einer der ganz großen Freunde des Nürnberger Nachtlebens. Nicht nur als talentierter DJ und Plattenleger unter dem aus seinem Nachnamen kreirten Pseudonym trägt er seinen Teil dazu bei, sondern auch als überaus audiophiler Tontechniker und Anlagenbastler. Sein inzwischen äußerst beachtliches Sortiment an 15, 18 oder gar 21 Zollern lässt nicht nur regelmäßig die eine oder andere Party brennen, sondern versorgt auch ganze Stages auf Festivals wie dem Ursprung oder der Klangtherapie mit Musik. Auch diverse Festinstallationen in Clubs wie die des Haus33 sind auf seinem Mist gewachsen. Und mal ganz unter uns, bei Laissez-Faire würde ohne diesen Herren vermutlich auch keine Anlage den richtigen Ton treffen...

Neben diesen Tätigkeiten hat er sich aber auch als Organisator von Veranstaltungsreihen wie Chuck Noize und dem Parkhoue einen Namen gemacht, auf denen man ihn auch immer wieder mal als DJ erwischen kann, manchmal sogar mit seiner Tasche voll schwarzem Gold. Je nach Stimmung und Laune erfährt man so ein gewaschenes Techno Set oder auch einfach einen gemtüliche Sundowner Mischung. Bei uns bleibt er jedoch am liebsten der Vereins eigenen Linie treu und spielt ein jackiges Steakhouse Set!
