An upbeat breakup song, 'It Ain't Easy' is the latest song to come from producer and songwriter Wayne Matthews. Featuring guest vocals from LORA, this pop duet was written after Wayne Matthews passed an ex on the street. Not knowing what to do in this situation, Matthews expressed it in the way he knows how and wrote a song about it. With strong Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran vibes, 'It Ain't Easy' sees both characters needing each other, but not in the way the other person wants. 'It Ain't Easy' is a bright sounding pop song, with heart wrenching lyrics delivered with sincerity by both vocalists.

The Softer Side Sessions is a project where I take my songs and try to create a fragile version of it. Vocals, a piano and some strings.

As first part of this project I re-recorded and mixed 'Since I Fell Apart', a song about feeling alone in a world where we are constantly surrounded.
