The Cherry Project.
The name of the song symbolizes an experiment done on children from an African tribe (some of you may have heard of the experiment before). In the experiment, a psychologist placed a basket of fruit under a tree and told the tribe of young boys that when he says "Go", whoever gets to the fruit first, can have it. When the psychologist said "Go",  the group of boys gathered hands, walked over to the fruit, and shared it all with each other. When the psychologist asked them why they did that, they said how could any one of them be happy when the others aren't! Ending the statement by saying "Ubuntu", an African word that means "I am, because we are."

So for me, the title symbolizes the basket.

The song speaks on a few of my deeper thoughts, but ultimately on the idea that true happiness comes from genuine love. Love from family, friends, significant others, etc. It also touches on the idea that we BECOME human through our relationship with others.
