The trio of Funkanomics has your recipe for groovy disco funk right here. With a background of reggae, hip-hop, and more - the crew has a keen sense for putting together an electro jam that goes off, crafting just the right rhythm and beat. Just a few months back, the group put together a great remix for Cheshire's "My Style" and now they return with the two-track "Get Up and Run" EP!

The single "Get Up and Run" is a soul-fueled anthem, full of feel good electro and nice breaks, this one will help fans get loose and get into an energized state of harmony. Ending with some catchy, sampled fun - this track ends with a great rush of flow and jive. "Frida Funk" has all the funky bass you can handle, with a final breakdown that will cause an earthquake of sub activity. That’s how Juwee describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid of going from crazy party vibes to a chillout level, his musical selections are his own therapy.


„There are shortcuts to happiness and music is one of them“


Raised on sounds of the early 70s, hip-hop and reggae, he always tried to keep himself open to every kind of other music. After discovering Funk, Jazz and Soul, which as he sees it, is the major source of inspiration for most genres, the beat-bender started collecting records, making edits and finally ended up doing originals. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: bassline, hiphop, funk, chillout, drum & bass, house, trap…
Though he loves playing in nightclubs, festivals, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.

As a part of the Funkanomics he has been rocking parties all over the world and lighting up the main stages of Fusion Festival, Shambhala Festival, Natural Games Festival, No Stress Festival, Motion Notion, Zürich Openair and many more…


Plenty of hard work with his project Funkanomics got him release on several labels like Adapted Records, Fort Knox Recordings, Jalapeno Records, Bomb Strikes, Ghetto Funk, Rocstar Records, Manmade and many more.
