I started experimenting with electronic music in 2008. I had a project called Toxic Nightmares, which was focused around the Industrial genre. These two tracks are the only tracks from that era that I feel sound decent enough to share, and I haven't been putting out music like I should be, so I wanted to share a little something from the past to show that I'm still here in the present, and that I am looking forward to the future. There will be more Juxtapose music coming one day. I promise.

Espionage

I originally wanted to make a reggae dub track for 4/20. Ended up with more of a trip hop vibe and finished it a day early, so I'm dedicating this track to Bicycle Day! This is also the first track I have ever tried sampling in! The samples are from Wax Tailor's "Say Yes!". Drop a comment and lemme know what you think =) Happy Bicycle Day <3

A New Dawn Is Rising

Basically an experiment that just grew into something...different. I tried building a drum kit for the first time and then I found some nice medieval samples and loops and the rest just fell into place. When I realized what the title should be, I decided that I didn't want to take this one too seriously. It's supposed to have a funny, strange and unique vibe to it, but it actually has some feeling to it too, I think. Without further ado, I give you...Tis But A Scratch!

It's weird. It's moody. It's lurky. Originally gave me vibes of a downtown setting,  the first part being in a shady area with your cliché old school suit wearin' creep and the next part kind of panning to a young adult in a city apartment bedroom with the rain coming down outside and that general lofi/melancholy vibe. The end reminds me of a carnival. Haha. Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy.

Lurky

The original vibe I got from this track was a Dia De Los Muertos vibe so I went with that. It turned into a track that I really poured my heart into. To me, personally, it represents life, death and reincarnation. I also feel the name of the track and artwork reflect that pretty well.

Again & Again

My first track of 2020! This track is part of a compilation with the Pretty Lights Family Producers. The idea was to pay tribute to Pretty Lights, specifically the  "Glowing In The Darkest Night EP". 20 fresh tracks from 20 different yet like minded producers...we give you, "Soon Enough The Light Will Shine". 

I had a blast being a part of this project. Much love to everyone involved. Special shout out to Connor Jay Proctor (metasine), for his work on our album cover and also to Martín Esser (Essonite), for his mastering of most of the tracks!

Escapism

I am just a strange human that likes making noises and sounds with computers and stuff. I am influenced by artists such as Pretty Lights/Michal Menert, Infected Mushroom, The Doors, Gorillaz, Dirty Art Club, alt-J, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Lindsey Stirling, Thievery Corporation, Pink Floyd, Opiuo, Emancipator, GRiZ, OutKast, Wax Tailor, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Red Hot Chili Peppers...the list goes on. I listen to a pretty wide range of music so whatever comes out, I just roll with it and go from there. Electro Soul is my favorite sub-genre of electronic music and that's ultimately what I strive to base my sound off of, but like I said, it goes where it goes...I hope some of what I create resonates with you <3
