Electro pop and dance music reach new heights with Jvel, an artist from the Canary Islands who not only sings but also composes and produces his own songs.

He has performed at one of the most vibrating concert venues in the Canary Islands, as well as in various clubs and pubs. After moving to Madrid, he had the opportunity in January 2005 to record his firsts music compositions with Marko Katier, former producer of ¨La Quinta Estación” (Spanish music band) who has collaborated with renowned artists such as Marta Sanchez, David Bisbal and David De Maria.

In addition to recording, he continues to compose and sing in many discotheques and to participate in a variety of festivals.

In the latter part of 2008 he produces new recordings with Lean G, who among other artists, also produces for Lorenzo Duarte from Venezuela. (http://www.amzrecords.com).

In 2009, Jvel starts introducing his demos at different well known venues in Madrid, such as Delirio Live, Ocho y Medio and Taboo, among others.

In 2010 Jvel studies music production and achieves his aim of producing his own music, this time in English.

Jvel’s dedication pays off in 2011 when he is discovered by the producer Carlos Jean who collaborates with him to produce the 4th song of the álbum “El Plan B”, namely Keep the Trance which peaked at number 1 on Itunes in June, 2011. Carlos Jean also collaborated with his solo song Adrenaline from the same album.   

In 2012, Jvel starts composing with producers and DJs such as Arake and David Van Bylen, the latter being the singer of the group Estereotypo and producer of various singers like Raphael, Dorian, Sidonia, Soraya and Amaia Montero, among others. This is when the song Now or Never, in collaboration with David Van Bylen, goes on sale under the label of Music Squad through Itunes, Spotify and Beatport and is played on Argentinian radio stations, while being included in various summer albums such as “Playa Mix 2012” and “Los Numero 1 de la Radio”. A video clip of Now or Never, directed by Ibai Fernandez, is produced.  In September 2012 Van Bylen and Jvel release an EP of remixes with free downloads to promote the new video clip.

Later Jvel edits “In the World”, from the House genre, with producer and Dj Frank Cherryman under the label Moorgate Records.

In 2013 Jvel rolls out the video clip I wanna Dance, with the collaboration of renowned artists like David Van Bylen, Arake and Eduardo Naya. The video clip is directed by Fuxedo Devito, while Hija de Pirómano does the styling, makeup and hairdressing.

In 2014, Jvel collaborates in theatre productions, at the same time working at producing his first studio Album, “Genealogical”.

In May 2015, Jvel releases his first Album, with 14 songs plus 4 bonus tracks with free download on the Internet. This Album has the collaboration of Dan Barrow, David Van Bylen, Oliver Tee, Arake and Night Waves as producer of some of the songs of the album which peaked at number 37 of Itunes, a very good position if we consider that the album didn´t have a lot of promotion worldwide, nor any recording studio to back it up.

Jvel is the personification of hope. He transmits so much passion in what he does that he is capable of captivating a whole football stadium, and if we add this to his unstoppable range of compositions, we have an awesome artist who only needs the necessary means to swamp us with his music.
