While his version is about longing for a message from me, my version reveals the other side of that connection  the quiet nights where I missed him too, the moments where I checked my phone hoping for his name, and the feelings I tried to hide behind strength.
This song is my confession that I felt everything he sang about. That his silence matters to me. That his voice brings me peace. That he is the person I think about at night when the world gets quiet.

No Rush is one of those songs that came straight from my real life. I’ve spent most of my years carrying things people my age didn’t even think about 
 bills, responsibility, family, survival.
 And somewhere in all of that, I realized something important: I don’t need to race anyone. I don’t need to compete. I don’t need to chase fame or be loud to matter.

I’m moving at my own speed. Slow, steady, peaceful. While the world runs after numbers and trends, I’m learning to breathe again… to enjoy the moments that kept me alive:
Ava laughing in the next room. My mom humming in the kitchen. Detroit lights hitting the windows late at night. Quiet. Simple. Real.
“No Rush” is my reminder to myself

I come from a loud life  responsibility, pressure, expectations, too much too early  and I learned that real connection doesn’t shout… it whispers.
This song is that meeting point: a space without fear, without hurry, without walls. Just two voices, two hearts, two stories learning how to breathe again.
We’re singing about trust  slowly rebuilt. Healing  gently happening. Closeness  without losing ourselves.
