Since the release of Booty Thrill's debut Phewture Funk, an electronic homage to early 80s funk and soul, Dallas native Alex Seikaly has been hard at work on a follow-up. He's spent the last year demoing and experimenting with different production techniques in an effort to release something that rivals his influences and contemporaries. The result, Thrillwave, is a majestic rush of euphoric, "get down" bliss that demonstrates his immense growth as a producer and songwriter. The basslines encapsulate smooth, grooving between hypnotic, textured melodies. Phased filters pulse through samples and beats as if you're on a cruise to another dimension with reverberated hand claps driving the ship. Here, Booty Thrill takes the best parts of funk, hip hop, and dance, and molds them into a fresh, pleasurable experience.

A native of Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX), J Wallace Ent. born Justin Michael Wallace June 13, 1989, was raised in one of the toughest hoods in Dallas, TX (Oak Cliff), shaping his upbringing and eventually the sound in his music. J Wallace Ent represents all that embodies the South Dallas streets that gave birth to not only his music, but his life as a fiery entertainer.
His passion for music and entertaining has always been an innate ability to J Wallace Ent. As a graduate of Jesuit College Preparatory High School, J Wallace Ent would write raps, as well as freestyle about ex-girlfriends and life experiences. Honing his style to its present day form, J Wallace Ent’s music is clearly developing each day he puts something together.
"The first instance I knew entertainment would be a positive career path for me came as a freshman in college after I got my first feature on Teleplay's Mr. 972's mixtape."
This experience not only inspired and motivated J Wallace Ent to work harder, but upon graduating from high school, J Wallace Ent enrolled at Prairie View A&M University hoping to push his career even further on the college scene. While attending Prairie View, J Wallace Ent continued writing and making music tenaciously. After finishing his first mixtape with Osie and Waco "Can't Be Touched" during the first semester of his sophomore year J Wallace Ent was forced to leave school due to financial hardships.
Although he was devastated to have to end school early J Wallace Ent took the unfortunate situation as a blessing from God.
"This is what it took for me to wake up and make something happen with the gifts God gave me, I want to ensure that they don't have to experience the same hardships I went through."
Recently J Wallace Ent’s "College Prep" Mixtape has been getting great reviews from across the state of Texas and across the internet.
