Flirting an epic Australian talent with a bomb of electro, bass, moombahton and a sprinkle of dubstep? Joel Miller created a infamous name from himself aka- JWell. Uprooted from a ukulele playing, Bee Gee bumpin’ family of music followers he cranks out a music library to leave crowds besotted. With an even fresher vibe in the studio too, it’s no surprise this Newcastle bred artist is around for the long haul and ready to detonate the scene.

Australia is known as a powerhouse of producers, so when JWell came along the gallop in the music got just a little bit of an extra kick in its step. Ripping out the nerves of the world’s anchors Dillon Francis, Jack Beats and studio pioneer Diplo, JWell considers a decent tune one that moves, quiver and creates a room of bass. Naturally dynamic, the studio has been this one’s bestie. Smashing out regular sessions with the headphones on, Streetwise Music is the next recording empire to take on this talent, realizing the dream in the tunes he pumps out so well. 

Within just three years JWell has stepped it up a notch and a half. Hitting venues left right and center, JWell can’t sit back, kicking up that bass line at every chance he can from his enviable residency at King Street Hotel Newcastle to collaborating on local boutique events. Sydney’s cool cat havens Candy’s Apartment and Le Panic have too noted a piece of him. But don’t forget the big stage! Newcastle’s party madness wouldn’t be the same without a gleaming appearance from JWell at Fat As Butter Music Festival and their hit seasonal event Sundae Fundaze. Regularly a bill hit, JWell keeps a modest musical heart taking a page out of those he has been honored to share a booth with the likes of Laidback Luke, Calvin Harris, Borgore, Morgan Page and local hero’s Wax Motif and Tom Piper, just to name a few.

With a barrage of talent up his sleeve and a legendary trait for lifting a crowd from placid to pumping, his energetic style keeps the crowd craving more. Popular with a wobbly bass line and a set of fast based DJ skills, JWell is about to make the east coast yelp while the globe take a great bite right out of him as their own.
