Patrick Topping continues his superb run of form on his Trick imprint with his latest heater ‘Walk On Air’ –a powerhouse collaboration with GRAMMY-nominated vocalist, DJ, and producer Camden Cox. True to form, ‘Walk On Air’ delivers Topping’s trademark dark and gritty beats, perfectly oﬀset by Cox’s soaring, euphoric vocals. The GRAMMY-nominated Nic Fanciulli unites with vocalist and songwriter Marc E. Bassy for ‘Hold On’ on Defected. Since previous label hits ‘I Want You’ with Butch and ‘Vente’ with Callussa, Nic Fanciulli has continued to nurture his Saved imprint, releasing ‘Set Me Free’ with Robert Courtois, a future club classic and five-week Beatport No.1 still receiving consistent club play nearly a year later. Continuing to build his relationship with Defected, 2025 will see Fanciulli play the label’s Pacha Ibiza residency and both flagship festivals in Croatia and Malta. For his anticipated Defected return, ‘Hold On’, Fanciulli collaborates with celebrated crossover artist Marc E. Bassy. House fans will recognise Marc’s buttery smooth vocals from Louie Vega and The Martinez Brother’s seminal Defected favourite ‘Let It Go’. ‘Hold On’ also places Marc’s precise yet smooth San Fran sway front and centre, combining with Nic Fanciulli’s cool, metropolitan production to create a soon-to-be summer smash for the modern age.

A certified Defected classic, ‘Bad Habit’ by ATFC featuring Lisa Millett is remixed by Clüb De Combat. Originally released in 2000, ‘Bad Habit’ quickly became one of the label’s signature tracks, leading to a slew of re-releases and remixes - most notably from Armin Van Buuren in the same year. Joining the impressive list of remixers is a duo marked as ones to watch for 2025; Clüb De Combat’s warehouse-filling sound has earned them a slew of supporters, including industry titans like Solomun, Peggy Gou, Chloe Caillet, Chris Lake and Mau P. With two EPs under their belt and several releases on tastemaker imprints, Clüb De Combat’s remix of ‘Bad Habit’ on Defected continues to showcase the duo’s blend of hard-hitting electronic genres - making for a powerful chapter in the record’s long-running story.

A powerhouse collaboration arrives on Defected as BLOND:ISH, Moby and Kiko Franco come together for ‘Natural Blues’. A bona fide talent with many strings to her bow, BLOND:ISH has emerged as one of this generation’s most acclaimed electronic artists. From launching the non-profit environmental organisation Bye Bye Plastic and her own label ABRACADABRA, to playing the biggest stages around the world like Coachella, Tomorrowland and Pacha Ibiza’s first ever female residency in 2025, there is nothing BLOND:ISH can’t do. Returning to Defected after 2024’s tastemaker hit ‘The Cure’ with KeeQ and Chloe Paige, BLOND:ISH now collaborates with Moby, one of the world’s most prolific and best-selling dance music artists who also returns to Defected after label debut ‘You & Me’ with Anfisa Letyago. Defected hitmakers Oden & Fatzo return with summer smash ‘Only For Tonight’, teaming up with US producer m.O.N.R.O.E and GRAMMY-nominated artist Matluck. Following 2024’s runaway hit ‘Tell Me What You Want’ with Poppy Baskcomb, plus their subsequent 2025 return with THEOS and Noa Milee for ‘Only You’, Oden & Fatzo have been deep in the Defected studio harnessing their uniquely throwback electronic sound. His previous label release in April 2025, ‘Make Me Weak’ featuring vocals from Carolyne Byrne, showcased an evolved sound for Ferreck - receiving much radio support across the UK, US, Ireland, France and his home country of The Netherlands. The Dutch powerhouse continues to go from strength to strength with an upcoming set at the label’s new residency at Pacha Ibiza and weekend festival Defected Malta in 2025. For his latest collaboration, Ferreck Dawn enlists Hayley May, a talented singer, songwriter and versatile musician who is no stranger to the Defected family; her recent collabs with artists like SAINT, Solardo and TCTS have proved Hayley’s worth as one of dance music’s most in-demand vocalists at the moment. Blending steel drums with fiery electronic rhythms, ‘Deep Inside’ shows Ferreck Dawn at his brightest and most dancefloor-ready, with Hayley May’s deliciously slick topline sure to remain with listeners throughout the summer.
