We have long appreciated the healing properties of music – not just in the listening or performing, but also in the creation of songs. We also have a deep love for the work of hospice, particularly for the saints who work in this field. With the support of the National Hospice and Palliative Care organization, we created this project to give voice to those who tirelessly and compassionately serve at the bedside of those who are at the end of life. Through songwriting
workshops, many who work in hospice were able to contribute their experiences and reflections, their heartfelt emotions, their joys and frustrations, and we were able to create these songs from their stories. They found a sense of enlightenment, peace, and healing
through the process. So did we. We are pleased to offer this collection of songs with the hope that those who listen will also experience the joy amidst the sorrow that those in the hospice
world face on a daily basis. All of the proceed from this project will go to support the work of the National Hospice Foundation.
