Cast into the insurmountable depths of effervescent tides, my body rests beyond all return.
I leave with you my dead man’s switch.

My predecessors did not lie in peace. They rot within the graves they dug—inch by inch, soul by soul. In that regard, we are alike. I can no longer endure the lie of righteousness. We were never noble, nor just, nor right in any sane eye. To deny this was our first sin. To accept it came too late.

As alluded, I once wore the ceremonial veil my kin have donned since time immemorial—since the dirt they now degrade into. I will not preach. I will not pray. Those are comforts for those who believe their hands are clean.

Instead, I offer the only kindness remaining to me:
choice, given to one who still hesitates to take it, for which you must dive below where I now lay in rest. '
