Static Skies and Silent Signals is a fragmented transmission from a collapsed future, where synthetic emotion and fractured memory blend into sound. Across three compositions — “Neon Blood,” “Holographic Rain” and “We Synced Once” — Hugo Barão builds a psychoacoustic topography carved from ghost frequencies, errant pulses and the residue of connection.
Each piece drifts through realms of post-human ambience, rhythmic
deconstruction and glitched sensuality. The textures are tactile but unstable — as if experienced through someone else’s neural feed — or what you might call unseen simstim.
This is not music to dance to — but to drift through. A corpus of affect, disjointed but deeply felt.
