Ever since I rose to fame, everyone ranging from friends, Family, and even strangers, to exes, old acquaintances, fans, record labels, and the music industry idolize me. They all try to impose their will on me regarding the choices I should make and who I should be. People only look at me as Jx.Zero, the public figure, instead of me as a fellow human with normal thoughts and emotions. They fail to take into account what I desire for my life, and I refuse to let them derail me from my purpose or change me by sticking their hands in what I’ve built. I stayed true to myself despite the temptation of money and fame so that I can live for God, family, peace, love, and positivity. I’m choosing to be an artist while letting myself be human. Nothing means more to me than spreading positivity through the music I create hearing how much it impacts you guys makes it all worthwhile…I want to be honest and spread truth that will bring light into your life & the world using my gift I want to continue to truly impact people and be a better servant to YHWH I know my music will speak volumes for me. “I Only Came Here To Be Myself” is the story of my development in accepting my calling from the most high. It is meant to be listened in order from top to bottom to receive the best experience and have understanding of my story/journey I have conveyed through my music in this album. This project expresses and shows my versatility and I feel as if though everyone can take something from this project there is a song for everyone.
