Growing up on the vibrant Southside of Chicago, JYNX was surrounded by rhythm and soul from the jump. As a kid, he’d sit wide eyed in his family’s living room, soaking in the thumping beats of house music that poured from his uncle’s old turntables. The infectious grooves of legends like Bad Boy Bill, Dj Deeon and more weren’t just background noise—they were a lifeline, a heartbeat that synced with his own. His uncle saw his curiosity and handed him a pair of headphones one summer. That moment flipped a switch. JYNX knew he wasn’t just a listener; he was destined to create.

By his teens, JYNX was teaching himself the art of DJing. House music was in his blood, a gritty, soulful strain that carried the spirit of Chicago’s underground. studying how DJs moved crowds, blending four-on-the-floor kicks with funky basslines. His family’s stories of the city’s house legacy fueled him, and soon he was crafting his own tracks—raw, pulsating cuts that echoed his roots but pushed boundaries with a modern edge.

JYNX’s big break came when a demo he slipped into a popular label’s email. His track “Back it up” caught the attention of DIRTYBIRD, the San Francisco label known for its bass-heavy house vibes. They signed it on the spot, and JYNX’s career got started. Not long after, his relentless hustle paid dividends with releases on CUFF, BASEMENT LEAK, FARRIS WHEEL + more. where his funky, ghetto house sound found a home.

JYNX is a rising star who’s never forgotten where he came from. His sets are a journey—sweaty, soulful, and unapologetic—pulling crowds into the same hypnotic pull that hooked him as a boy. With every release, he’s carving out a legacy of his own, proving the Southside’s newest ghetto beats loudest through his speakers and yours.
