About Jyoti Verhoeff:

With their instruments, voices and beautiful compositions they lure you into the depth and welcome you in the marvelous land of imagination, where nothing is predictable anymore and yet everything is recognizable.

Born with disabled vision, Jyoti taught herself to play the piano. Her remarkably expressive and intimate playing is endowed with beautiful taste of authenticity. Her pure and soul stirring voice adds an intensity and depth that will not leave many people untouched.

Jyoti: "When we play, we abandon the sinking ship of this reality and let the sounds of the deep blue silent ocean take us where we are no more than ourselves."

Maya is a classical educated cellist who started to play cello when she was 6 years old and seems melted with her instrument. Her passionate and warm sound goes straight into the heart.
Maya: "When we play, the space behind my eyes opens up and I am nothing but a soldier conquering the lands of the kingdom of imagination. There I meet Jyoti and the space between us is filled with fire."

Balancing on the edge of the known, they thrust their own ways in music through the world.
