The RIff

This is a song that I had been working on since my sophomore year of high school and the 3 years that I've taken to write this song have honestly paid off. At first i thought of just writing a simple catchy riff but then I started messing around more with what could go along with that simple riff which would later become the monstrousity of this song. The song itself has its own story which is about an old man who is telling his grandson stories from which he was younger. The progression of the song brings you into different phases and different story from his life in which he visits, beginning with the old man sitting down to introduce his grandson about his adventures when he was younger and ending with a life well lived by that old man. Hopefully I'm able to convey that same feeling to you guys who listen to it. feedback is much appreciated.
