For me, René is one of the (rare) artists who consistently deliver a high level (as far as my taste is considered) in the genre "Techno", and this over many years. This is something very special for me, at least in the techno/house genre. 

So, it was time to send a little thank you to Berlin. 

By the way, the photo depicts the Oder River, photographed by Katharina - from the Frankfurt Oder/Słubice bridge, sometime in the early 00s.

I bought my first record by Jefre in 2010, here in Cologne at the Kompakt record shop. 
It was the Love is a Stream LP on Type. It was followed by numerous albums.
With the release of the great Tracing Back The Radiance ep - or LP (2019), the idea to create another part of my composed-mix series was maturing. 
For the realisation I was still missing some important vinyl releases, which were searched for and reordered. 
The finalisation of the mix then followed in December 2021.

'k' - within confines

About 15 years ago I played Tim Hecker's first tracks in my Sets/Radio-Shows, back then about two years after the release of the album "Haunt Me, Haunt Me Do It Again". No matter in which direction my musical taste changed, especially "Radio Amor" (Mille Plateaux) was present at all times. Meanwhile I own almost every (vinyl/CD) release of him, so a "tribute mix" had been planned for years. Then, with the Re-Release of his first album, (at that time only as CD on Substractif (2001) - now as LP on kranky) it should happen. Music from almost 15 years Tim Hecker, packed in my DJ set for 2,5 hours.
I hope it's as much a pleasure to you as it is to me.

'k'' - niebla de todo el año

A few weeks after my return from Zurich I found all the records I took with me into the night at the Umbo on September, 25th. So, to create a special musical-memory of this weekend for me (& you), i made this spontaneous DJ mix - using the records that i carried with me to Switzerland. In addition, of course, with the gifts I received; comfortnoise - 01 & 02 - 12".

Well, a quite wired mix of different styles was created - probably similar to what was experienced at the Umbo that night. I think.. :)
