For me, this song is about finding the courage to leave a place you know isn’t right for you. That place can be a toxic relationship, a negative living situation, or even a soul-crushing job. Change is often extremely overwhelming and frightful. But when you decide to let fear of the unknown go, magical things happen.

I started working on this remix a long time ago when @splice hosted a remix contest, and as many artists before me, I hit a roadblock. I felt like I just couldn’t finish the song for some reason. Months later, I came back to it and felt like it had enormous potential, so I worked on it until it transformed into something much greater than I expected. I realize now that I couldn’t finish it before because I wasn’t in the right place physically, emotionally, spiritually. I had to remove myself from that place. I hope this rendition of the @jonsine original inspires you to take a leap of faith and pursue what your heart calls to you about. What does your heart call you to pursue?

This is my remix of Turns To Dust by Sound Surfer, Verso and Nilka. The original track is phenomenal, so it was such a pleasure to remix this gem.
The remix contest was hosted by New Dawn Collective, So I really want to thank you guys for this opportunity.
My thoughts of the remix was to create something unique and eventful, while maintaining emotion and power.
