Nic TVG's drum and bass EP, "From 22 to 6", arrives on the 15th anniversary of Pinecone Moonshine. Combining sounds from second-hand store records and field recordings, the EP is in the style of drumfunk (putting natural drum kits in the forefront). Remixes add variety as VT.inno and K-Chaos break up the emphasis on drum edits with acid basslines and halftime drum and bass.

Eschaton: The 2025 Omni Sessions - Volume 1

Omni Music welcomes back Astral Haze who teams up with other Omni regular Freebird for a 4 track meeting of minds. The EP begins with Three Hearts a thumping introduction to their shared timbres as rolling breaks, ethereal drops of acid and ethnic vocals drive the momentum forward. Digital Elements introduces more ethnic touches as discreet melodies stimulate the driving breaks that gradually build as the track reaches its epic conclusion. Wooden Prophecies begins with relaxing pads, haunting voices and deft touches of melodics that explode into another ethereal melting pot of jungle breaks, evolving strings and thundering bass stabs. The EP ends with the hypno-grooves of Analogue Alliance a head-nodding journey through futuristic beats and bass. Omni Music are pleased these two artists joined forces and are eager to him them do so again in the future.

K-Chaos returns with 4 more experimental drum-laden adventures. The EP starts with Arrowhead, a dark twisted journey through discordant sonic valleys as breakbeats square off with each other through eerie landscapes. The title track Early Reality starts with steppy tribal rhythms and middle eastern influences before unleashing an onslaught of drumfunk madness, flipping back and forth between tribal sound and thundering drums. Ischiadicus envelopes the listener with more dystopian sounds as classic breaks drive the sparse and sinister timbres forward. The EP ends on the energetic drumfunk experimentation of Tax Addict as drums speak a thousand words and spectral strings sing dark poetry. This is another excellent chapter in K-Chaos' leftfield drum and bass sounds, as we can't wait to hear more.
