Anna, a young nurse in the city hospital, experienced the effects first hand. The emergency room filled up with injured people within hours. "We need more staff!" she shouted through the crowded corridors. Her white coat was already smeared with blood.

Chapter 3: The Resistance

In the weeks that followed, the resistance formed. Marcus, a former peace activist, organized a network of helpers. They hid refugees, distributed food and sent secret messages.
