Prior to this re-introduction, Keri has spent years writing and producing for his then wife Toni Braxton. In early 1999, having already gained the attention of record execs like Clive Davis and LA Reid, Keri began to write and produce for Toni and his first effort became the title track to Toni's multi-platinum selling, Grammy award winning album entitled "The Heat". After the success of "The Heat", Keri went on to write and produce for Toni's first Christmas Album entitled "Snowflakes" in which he was also executive producer along with LA Reid. Snowflakes became an instant Christmas classic including songs co- written and produce by Keri like "Snowflakes of Love", "Holiday Celebrate", and "Santa Please".

More recently, Keri co-wrote and co-produced "I Heart You" for Toni Braxton, which reached #1 on the Billboard Dance/Club charts.

Keri was also recently “portrayed” in the Lifetime’s Biopic based on Toni Braxton’s memoir “Unbreak My Heart”.
