Parents need to stop relying on their career

with these children of today
technology won't go away
so it's up to us to get the kids outside to play.

We've all done things we don't like to do
so that we can have some food
maybe a drink or two.
See me and you, we're really quite the same 
because the dollar sign is what makes us go insane.

It controls our emotions
and forces bad choices.
The system in place
has made it hard to get our voice heard.

We can't get enough money to ever get ahead,
and the suits and ties in Washington,
they won't be breaking bread.....

So my suggestion....
let's all grow out some dreads.
Put hat pins on our flat brim 
and follow the Grateful Dead.

SAVED MY LIFE!
