It’s been a while….too long in fact….but a friend had a gathering and asked me to warm up for the day. It’s been so long since I’ve played out on the decks and it felt so good to be back amongst music loving like minded people…what a day/night we had. Amazing thanks must go to DJ Jake Hobbs for hosting something truly special…at the very exclusive ‘Conifer Club’….if you know….you know! Hope you all enjoy this delightful hour of melodic loveliness.

Just : Music #12

I couldn’t believe when I looked back and it’s 8 months since Just : Music #12 was uploaded. Episode #13 is long long overdue but I’m back with a bang, 1 hour 20 minutes of electronic delights that I’ve been into of late…warming up the first 30 minutes or so nicely before unleashing some absolute crackers in the latter part of the mix….just how we like it. 

In other news I’ve been playing a new night in London recently, Social Beats. Musically it’s a little different, veering into a more nu-disco indie dubby kind of vibe - the event is growing in stature and locals in Hackney seem to love it - keep an eye out for the next one on my socials it’d be great to have you along. Who knows maybe I’ll even do the next Just:Music mix in that style…and I promise I won’t wait another 8 months!! Life just get’s in the way sometimes but there is always Just : Music….oh and keep an eye for some exciting ARRVL news incoming soon. Just : Music #14 is here! We’re in the midst of summer here in the northern hemisphere & there’s simply too much good music out there to leave it as long as I did between episodes #12 & #13. Not that I’m at all superstitious but sitting on #13 for too long didn’t feel right either so here we are!  

A little over 1 hour 40 minutes of the latest summer tinged tunes I’ve been digging of late, keeping it deep & melodic, with a bouncy groove at times this one is perfect for those balmy summer days/nights.

Just:Music #15 is upon us…as summer comes to a close I’ve taken things up a notch on this one. With episodes #13 & #14 showcasing the organic house sound that I just love, Just:Music #15 is a journey through some progressive beats I’ve been enjoying of late. This mix has a lovely old school feel to it, with a selection of banging breaks, uplifting feel good vocal bangers and a nice progressive flow throughout.

I really enjoyed putting this one together & hope you like it…as always thanks so much for taking time out to listen, any comments, and dare I say ‘likes’ are hugely appreciated and help to get the mix out there in front of more people.

It’s been long old bleak gloomy winter here in the UK….so I thought about time I laid down another mix to take us into Spring/Summer….Just:Music #16 is here.

When I look at the genre tags in the playlist it’s everything I love in electronic music right now, starting of some beautiful organic vibes, venturing into some delicious afro beats and ending up on some pounding prog to finish up….buckle up ;)

Looking back on the summer of 2023, the quality and quantity of new music has been quite astonishing; Just:Music #17 certainly epitomises that coming in at over 2 hours long – by far the longest of the series to date!

I just had so much to choose from, deep groovy vibes, organic masterpieces & afro belters, I just wanted to whack it all in there and so I did! 

This mix is really tip of the hat to all the producers, the DJ’s and the fantastic events I’ve attended both here in London & Ibiza throughout this summer; one that for me will last long in the memory.

As always, heartfelt thanks to everyone reading this & listening to the mix, I really hope you get as much enjoyment from it as I did compiling it. Any comments, feedback, and dare I say it, shares are hugely appreciated.

A new mix for New Year! Just:Music #18 is here! A selection of wonderful tunes I’ve been digging of late. A mixture of organic beauties, afro stompers and a sprinkling of gorgeous vocals in here too. This will have you dreaming of summer ’24 in no time :) 

Not that I’m big on New Years resolutions but I’m aiming for monthly editions through 2024 so keep your eyes peeled for upcoming months.

It’s taken a while as I don’t stick to a schedule, but here we are on double digits….Just:Music #10. I’m in quarantine after a recent trip to The White Isle so I’m long on time…looking back over the last few months I’m also long on amazing music and decided to get back to the beachy chill style for this one that I love so much. Edging towards a slight foot tap or a head nod…you might find yourself getting nicely immersed in this dreamy little hour or so. Hope you like it, I’d love to know what you think….

Just : Music #11 brings a plethora of electronic delights from summer 2020 for your listening pleasure. It’s such a shame that we haven’t been able to celebrate this music in a fit & proper way this year. Just when we thought we might be coming out of the woods with this, once again we have the threat of further lockdowns and restrictions over our heads so I hope this slightly extended edition of Just : Music can transform you to a better place…one where we can be free, celebrate the music & dance together once again. A lover of all things ‘house' fuelled by his fond remembrance of euphoria surrounding the birth of rave culture, KONNR's passion for electronic music has remained firmly in place ever since.

Inspired after one of many trips to Ibiza a few years back to turn his hand to mixing, originally just as a hobby (it’s something he always wanted to do) - he never really envisaged much beyond that. 

Fast forward a few years, KONNR is regularly playing parties as one of ARRVL’s residents in London’s underground scene. Gathering a reputation for delivering emotive melodic electronic sets, as he says ‘I love to take the dance floor on journey’  and whether he’s warming up or playing peak time, there’s always a story and immense emotion in his sets. His popular Soundcloud mix series Just : Music showcases exactly that, touching upon varying styles within the series, if it’s the beach, the gym or partying hard there’s sure to be something there for you.
