Demo version from 2020, written during lockdown before being passed to The Korgis as a mid section piece for their excellent 'Magic Money Tree' track. 'An apocalyptic sea shanty' according to one of my mates.

We’ll be on all the newswires, the sound of flares and the screech of tyres
Cold, grinding jaws of the dogs hot on our tail
We’d sooner end it here than go back to jail
We always knew this day was coming
They’ll never ever stop us running
