100% of the proceeds made from this release will be donated to Medical Disaster Response, a nonprofit that supports the people of Ukraine with necessary medical aid. Their team works shoulder-to-shoulder with Ukrainians on the frontline to deliver supplies directly to those who need it the most. They also coordinate with other non-government organizations for evacuations and refugee transportation.

Taken from our most popular EP of 2021, Swedish producer Lazarus Moment’s “Never Return” (SERA009) quickly became a standout track among listeners in our community. Inspired by the future garage pioneers that came before us, we sought out someone who shared those same influences - this made it easy to invite Boston-based artist ROBY. His remix keeps the track’s core qualities intact: galloping drums, emotive pads, and a persistent low-end layered beneath its atmosphere. He personalizes the rework by adding his own recorded vocals to it, which is a first in the Satellite Era catalog.

Earlier this year, frequent label collaborator Agent O delivered one of the most anticipated releases in our short history. Reaching faraway places amidst the internet music sphere, the project made its way back home to Chicago and into Ricky Digital’s workstation. The mysterious producer takes “That’s Enough Of That” (SERA012) and turns it into an over the top track well-equipped for a lively, peak-hour DJ set. Already heavy on the bassline and drum work, the remix takes a less serious approach by throwing in humorous vocals and quacking duck samples, all while maintaining its original aggression. The short-spanned but fun song leaves us with one very important question: who is Ricky Digital?

Our last visit to the Distant Arrays series brought us deep into the realm of jungle and drum ‘n’ bass. Upon arrival, we welcomed Zuni back for a track called “Growth” (SERA010) that pushed the envelope of his minimalist style. Shortly after its release, it caught the attention of Los Angeles-based artist RamonPang, who was very eager to take on its remix duties. Focused on a much longer progression than the original, he effortlessly introduces new elements throughout the track’s 9-minute duration. The repetition works as intended - it maintains the energy while bringing excitement each time a fresh percussive sound or synth enters the space.

Our label’s most recent release came from Turkish producer Fosil, a rising start in Istanbul’s underground scene. Packed with serious dancefloor weaponry, “Anti-You” (SERA013) took a more experimental approach than the rest, showcasing frantic drums and a clear nod to breakcore influences. With a desire to keep its eeriness unscathed, we reached out to the inimitable Sectra to fulfill the prophecy. A longtime friend and huge inspiration of ours, he turns the track into a slowed, spaced out rework that boasts gritty textures and a poisoned groove. His subtle yet effective use of sampling leaves remnants of the original on a harrowing trail, paving the way for a proper ending to this project.
