When I was in creative mode, I came up with this simple, yet smooth vocal hook that I kept singing out loud. It began to come together, slowly layering each instrument one at a time as I worked out the dynamics of each tracksong. The vocals are arranged and sung by myself. I just love how the song is soothing to my heart and ears.

I watched myself making this track in a dream the other night, and felt the energy and release in this song. This track is dedicated to ALL nationalities who fight for the cause of Black Lives Matter, and to all of my brothers and sisters of color in the world that has felt the heaviness, and pain of this fight. It’s evident that floods of emotions has surged over not just America, but the entire world. Nations are coming together to fight racism.  It is the most aggressive fight against racial injustice that we have ever witnessed. My dream is for this world to become truly diverse in its truest form of brotherly and sisterly love.

Blessed and Grateful....
Born in Manhattan, New York, and raised in California. I’m a self taught musician. I came to learn the art of music at the early age of 4 years old by watching and emulating what I saw. Playing drums, and jumping around to and from different instruments was the norm. I began to play drums professionally for Dorthy Morrison (“Oh Happy Day” lead singer) when I turned 14 years old. I played for her for 5 years. It was an amazing experience. I was blessed to be able to play all over California which lead to having the honor to play at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland, California in front of thousands of people. For me, it was a monumental moment that I’ll never forget. I began to venture more into learning professional studio work by learning from Anthony Yates (lead guitar player for, “Sly & The Family Stone”), and Eddie Hurd (aka. “E-Way”,  bass player for “E-40 and The Click”). Ive been blessed to be around some of the greatest musicians and studio engineers I’ve ever encountered: Sheila E, Levi Seacer Jr., Studio Tone, and a host of other celebrity bands and artist that I’ve done live sound for till this day. I said it once, I’ll say it again: Blessed and Grateful. 
 
Mostly Instrumentals on this page to rap and/or sing to. I play multiple instruments: Piano, Drums, Guitar, Bass, Flute, and Percussion. I love collaborating with other musicians. Making music is what I do, what I love, what I respect. Ive gone through enough to pour my heart into the art of making music. I turn life’s issues and lessons into heart felt tracks that we all can rock out to, to be consoled by, to make you happy,to making you want to dance, to make you even cry... Its the art of music that moves us. It’s what helps everyone get through - whatever that means to you.
