The most recent release on Crossfade Sounds welcomes Basement Scene back to the label with their EP, "Heatwaves." In addition to their own "Club Version," the track has been skillfully remixed by label regulars Dexter Curtin & Marcus Jahn from Germany, Soundealer from Portugal, and MAKEB from Brazil.

Basement Scene is a dynamic DJ and production duo from Peru, now based in Barcelona, consisting of Diego Peña and Bruno García. They are renowned for their distinctive style, which blends artificial sounds and real-life recordings to create hypnotic and transcendent electronic music that serves as a powerful form of artistic expression. They share a common vision that melds elements of House and Techno with evocative melodic influences drawn from various musical styles and genres. Many of their productions are characterized by their enigmatic, mysterious, and high-energy atmosphere.
