A cover version of the Erroll Garner’s song "Misty". A version from The Erroll Garner Songbook. Arranged by Sy Johnson. C. 1954, 1955, 1977 Vernon Music Corp. 

Played by me with my Korg SGProX digital stage piano using the amazing and breathtaking CFX Concert piano sound from the Yamaha Montage 8 synthesizer. 

Honoring the pianist and composer Erroll Garner. This was one of the very first jazz standards I ever learned some time ago, although the version I learned then was a substantially easier one. I later found this amazing and lovely (and rather complex) version with big chords and now decided to try to record it. Sorry again for the slow tempo... on the other hand the slow tempo gives time to listen to the wonderful chords and the beautiful piano sound. Also the volume may be somewhat low but as I discovered the mixing of a piano sound seems to be pretty hard indeed!
