How did you get your DJ name? 

I was checking out old Claire’s merch on the internet from way back when. They use to have tiaras that said Diva Rebecca, Diva Stephanie, Diva Tiffany etc. :3

Favorite musical memory? 

The moment when i played the Stairway To Heaven guitar solo flawlessly

Advice for being productive with music? 

Don’t get caught up. 

What was your first gig? How did it go? 

My first gig was with my first band MT-40 at Honey Lounge in Vancouver. There was about 10 people there (the tru heads)  We forgot to bring a stand for our keyboards and had to steal some stuff from a construction site. After 2 songs our amps stopped working. It was exhilarating !

Do you have any upcoming releases/gigs? 

Heading to North America for January! Can’t wait! <3

Here we go for a massive 100th edition of the Warning Mix series. To mark the end of our first "century", we decided to welcome back one of our absolute favourites. Back in the early days of Warning Mix '#6 we had S.O.N.S delivering a masterclass in Drum & Bass, still one of the absolute highlights on our SoundCloud. This time we got permission to share the live recording of his garden set at our Berlin party last summer, a three hour vinyl only journey into psychedelic music based on an out of this world selection and stunning mixing skills. We could actually end the series after this one - but don't worry, there will probably be a hundred more. Now turn on the volume, tune in to the music, drop out into the universe :-)

The Zen parties in Orlando, FL in the early 90's demonstrated how massive the rave scene had become. Incredible DJ lineups, full live acts at massive fairground venues packed with rave kids made for special nights.  Some were lucky enough to keep the party going like this excellent after party DJ'd by none other than Sasha himself.  

A full 6 hrs of progressive, moody, loved up house in the early morning of labor day 1996. Over 60 tracks in all!

Sasha - Live @ the Zen Afterparty (Labor Day at Mark Hunt's) [1996] Orlando, FL

Luis Malon, what comes to mind? He’s a joker, always with a one liner to hand whilst exuding some impeccable manners and a most humble soul. There’s a humour and poetry within him, brilliantly channeled and expressed in his music.

Producing killer tracks, he’s made people go crazy over “Charrua En Bote” on Two Bridges EP (El Milagro, 2016) – this was his very first release. After some international recognition, he has featured on VA releases on Slow Life and OPIA Records and this year saw his continued collaboration with OPIA for The Resistance EP  and a debut single Sisters Of The Night EP on Slow Life.

A performer at heart his live sets are energetic, made for peak time dancing yet interesting enough to trip out to. He delivers surprises throughout, swaying between the divine and the dark.

And he encapsulates this energy as he records his live set for our podcast series (“I would usually play it faster for the club”).
