Trilucid teamed up with Brett Gould to release The Purpose in August 2025 — a progressive house bomb dropped via the peerless Global Underground. Following the original release, Trilucid returned to the project with a darker, more underground interpretation. The result is The Purpose (Drum Dub), a moody, rolling, techno-infused rework featuring huge Zimmer-inspired stabs in the breakdown, providing a distinctive and cinematic take that pushes the track into deeper territory.

This single made us understand what Drifter does best —create intangible soundscapes, followed by immersive feelings that are represented by the contemplation behind his harmonies and melodies. The pianos dance around an empirical atmosphere full of beautiful insights and small disappointments. Born in the 80's.

       The journey with electronic music began in 2004. From sets played with vinyl, where the first steps were taken in to BreakBeat and Techno vibes.

The inspiration for my mixes and tracks comes from Berlin, where I have lived for the last few years. Current sets I often play in hybrid form, a combination of classic DJing with analog drum machine and sampling.

        Most mixes take the audience on an audio journey with flowing electronic melodies from melodic techno and deep sounds from deep techno and deep house.
