Two Words

Khevin Almario – Shy Singer onscreen. Wedding singer and stage performer by trade. Musician at heart. 

Prior to his introduction as the “Shy Singer” on the iconic noontime show Eat Bulaga! in June 2021, Khevin has always lived and breathed music.

It was such passion that led him to pursue his Diploma in Creative and Performing Musical Arts (Voice Performance) from the UP College of Music in Diliman in 2020.

By then, he had become part of several musicals staged by the Repertory Philippines’ Children’s Theatre (RCT), where he was a baritone rose bush in Beauty and the Beast (2003), one of the villagers in Pinocchio (2004), and a baritone phage in The Emperor’s New Clothes (2005). He was later re-cast in RCT’s Pinocchio (2014) as a Balloon Seller.

Khevin also played the part of Hugo Harty (ensemble) in Repertory Philippines’ big musical, Scrooge; and was also part of the artistic team for Scrooge as the voice coach.

In 2015, the stage lights also led Khevin to Singapore, where he, along with other topnotch Filipino talents starred in the original Filipino Broadway musical, Singapura. Offstage, this passionate musician also took on the role of supervising the musical’s orchestra.

When he’s not on stage or onscreen, he’s a full-time musician who he plays keyboard while singing in events – mostly weddings. He privately teaches voice and piano (beginner) lessons, and is the choir master of the Unisonus Choir in Don Antonio Heights, QC, since 2018, Couples For Christ Choir in The National Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Makati since 2001 and The 5PM Choir of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in Makati since 2014.
