After being known from the more melodic side of electronic music, Scottish producer https://soundcloud.com/obviouslydan delves into fast-paced, grin inducing melodic techno with his ‘Pearls EP’.

The lead track ‘Pearls’ is led by an infectious, gritty flute motif that grabs your ears and almost forces you to smile with how happy and bouncy it feels. Underpinned with a thumping drum track and a big, bold bass line, this peak time record is a club anthem in the making. 

‘Byson’, on the flip-side is just as club ready as ‘Pearls’ but with a few more of the melodic elements that we’re used to, from an obviouslydan record. Reverbed vocal snippets dance over classic sounding piano stabs, supported by yet another big old bass line. 

Hats off to this young producer - these two are belters!

Our AI-controlled probe has reached the star system from which the signals originate. The dust cloud around the star turns out to be a ship graveyard, and not, as assumed, the presence of a Dyson sphere around the star.

At the same moment, the probe realizes that it is not alone here. Our probe identifies an energy surge from an unknown drone and initiates an evasive maneuver. A rapid chase through the star system begins.

Shortly before our drone suffers critical damage, the pursuer explodes. Another, larger drone becomes visible. Contact with our drone suddenly breaks off.
