NOTE ABOUT THE SONG:SO we heard this tune a long long while back and begged our friend Jack to track down the stems for us via Atlantic. At the time our track record we were a bit unknown so we appreciate the folks at Atlantic for letting us try a hand at this, but in the end it worked out for everyone as we think this is a pretty Massive song. Anyway, with this tune we wanted to get in on the massive bass kick that has been so popular in house but find a unique lead to compliment it. It was great because paired with Icona Pop's anthemic vocals of the classic Tupac song, the track has this great sing a long appeal but still get filthy at the drop. Pumpin Blood was a pretty massive tune for 2013 racking up over 1,000,000 plays and really putting NONONO on the map, who have since been blowing up internationally, so naturally we were honored to work with the talented swedish act. The song itself has so many interesting components between the verses and chorus' and who doesnt love a good whistle, its got a great sense of emotion. So during the making of this remix...... shit we cant remember we did it so long ago, fuck, whatever, but hey it has our signature pluck and we gave it a trap breakdown to spice it up a bit. Anyway, the tune has three distinct parts, and in approaching our music production now, we really want to think about the songs in terms of distinct parts to create a well quote unquote perfect whole... so we have our really emotional piano intro that pulls you in, then our sort of ectasy drop or whatever you call it, and then into this sort of thugged out trap part and then back into glorious... its a favorite of ours because we always try to create these engaging emotional aspects that draw you in and this song we feel really accomplishes that in each of its sections”

The girl is hard at work on her first album and from what we have heard everything is crack. Bebe is one of the most talented writers we have ever met and dont get us started on her voice. For us the beauty of a good song is a strong melody but also cleverness and Bebe is unmatched in coming up with interesting ways to sing about things that have been sang about forever! Quickie From US- "We first discovered Josef Salvats music with his single Hustler about 18 months back.... The song was so authentic and emotional and his voice was alike nothing we had heard. We did some research and found out he was quickly signed and we were sure it was only a matter of time before this guy was doing Sam Smith things. We had always wanted to remix his work but to be quite honest we thought we would write and he would just say no hahah... SO when we heard open Season we fell in love all over again. His unmistakable voice and haunting yet oddly uplifting lyrics... We decided to grow some balls and reach out, well not us we used our manager as cover... Sorta like sending your ugly friend over to find out of a girls single...! To our surprise Josef was totally down and we got the stems As you may have noticed lately we have been on a downtempo kick. Made its the food we've been eating, or weather but we have really enjoyed making this alternative tracks to our usual remix style. As a practitioner of Yeezyanity, I had to throw my own flair into this remix contest. In my opinion "Kanye" is one of the most uplifting and feel good tunes of the year. It's the type of shit that you listen to once then its embedded in your brain and makes you believe all your dreams can come true. We met the Chainsmokers 3 years ago when they Dj'd a warehouse party we threw in Brooklyn. They played for $500, which at the time was about half their normal rate….. We remember the day our manager came into our studio aka drew's living room apartment to show us this new band he was going to sign to Disruptor Records. The first record he played us was this tune Overload and we were hooked! We had never heard of them before but we proceeded to listen to 10 more songs of theirs and we were blown away. Their sound was so refreshing from the instruments to their vocals. There was a summertime quality to all their music that couldn't be denied. Flash forward a couple months and we had the chance to meet them in LA. We proceeded to do what any dudes meeting for the first time would do, we through a mansion party at a buddies got totally blackout and missed the call time for what was our Let You Go music video. Flash even more forward and Overload is taking over top40 and they are about to drop their next single Dreams! The boys were cool enough to let us take a shot a remixing overload and putting our touch on it. The song itself is already just so amazing and vibey... its like drinking coconut water on a beach while getting a foot rub and someone somewhere else transferring large sums of money into your bank acct. SO we figured why change that and just change the foot rub to a back massage and money to a kiss from a chick you really are into but didn't know she was also into you.... So without further adieu... our remix of Overload!

So what happens when 2 New Yorkers and 2 Texan's get together... Actually that sounds like it would be some political debate, but in this case fucking great progressive House!

So basically Tritonal hit us up maybe 5 months ago about working together on a track! We had always been HUGE fans of their work and literally the same day we were messing around with this Emily Warren Vocal. Tritonal sent over this demo idea and it was so dope! Over the next couple months we tweaked it and eventually arrived at a perfect blend of both our styles. Hats off to Chad and Dave though, such legends, and unbelieveable producers... you think you know about sound design, take a seat cause these dudes will fuck your world up! Nevertheless, in the end we wound up with a beautiful progressive track with an incredible vocal that will get stuck in your head instantly! Literally Emily is one of the best writers out there right now! AND we are all so proud to give you this track! SO PLEASE go out share the song, buy the song, and have a great time with it!

OH and the music video we just filmed is bloody hysterical and we cannot wait to share it!

Quickie from us: "So its really great when coincidences and fate find each other, because that is what happened… We absolutely were in love with this summer anthem by smallpools, it reeked of fresh cut grass and the afternoon sun... So when their ppl reached out to us about doing a remix it was the easiest decision ever. We can't say it wasn't a challenge though with such a strong vocal, but we really wanted to pin it up against the classic 'house music pluck' we have been hearing so much of, but use it in a vain that felt a bit different but still large, but finding that union was tough in the sense the two had to warm up to each other rather than clash... but in the end we think we found this great atmosphere for the song to exist."
