Christmas Dance @The Den 2022

This is the opening set for BassWitch, a femme-forward bass night featuring femme DJs, producers, performers, and vendors.  I made this set to showcase the amazing diversity of femme forward bass music-- from soft and beautiful to ratchet AF! With the exception of two femme produced songs remixed by men and one SoffiTucker song I couldn't resist that obviously had a man involved in production, this is a set made by a woman of music made by women, played at a show put on by women!  I'm excited to keep exploring this rich vein of music.

This set is really special to me because it represents my first time not meticulously planning each song and transition ahead of time, but rather trusting my abilities, and reading the crowd!  Turns out peeps wanted UP so UP we went!  This is a great set for cleaning the house, I reckon-- it'll keep you moving!

Portand Winter Lights Festival Silent Disco

This set is dear to my heart. Born from an invitation to play an Ecstatic Dance retreat in Costa Rica called "Heart of the Jungle", it incorporates many of the tropical sounds that have always moved me beyond reason from my youth in Brazil and I imagine lifetimes beyond.  It's a true "ecstatic wave". A delight to create and play, and because I was deep in the jungle the first time I played it, I could not record it.  Luckily I have an awesome community in the Portland Ecstatic Dance scene, and was able to modify and play this set again to a dancefloor so PUMPED I love this set even more now.  The joy in the room was so palpable! I've never felt so fed by playing a set.  I guess my love came through on this one. ;)
This is the live recording.  It's got a few li'l wobbles... but it feels important to share it exactly how it was transmitted (perfectly!) that day. <3

When I saw the flyer for this party featured beautiful tropical birds-- I thought this *must* be the set I get to play tropical house music, which is so dear to my heart!

This is a sweet, happy mix of some banger high-vibe tropical house with lots of soaring horns, amapiano, and a few choice 80's remixes for punctuation.  The vibes was just right for this show-- and I hope it is for you too. <3

I made this set for the dance I love and help create in the week leading up to the confirmation of a new, somewhat nefarious president, and I was super surprised how anxious I felt-- so I channeled it into this set.  Expect to hear a couple mentions of the world falling to ruin, but also a lot of affirmations of strength and  beauty, a thumping peak, and a resolve that leans into resilience and hope. Dancing Through Intensity * Fernhill Ecstatic Dance 1/19/25

This set is the first of a double-wave dance in collaboration with my Beloved, DJ Permissionary.  This first wave represents The Feminine, weaving familiar feminine chants over deep bass and draws on Neo-Celtic sounds like flutes and bagpipes to evoke the spirit of Beltane.

Made this set in honor of the full moon in Sagittarius and the heat of summer... it's an ecstatic wave but also a really good time!  There's medicine music, deep bass, and lots of tropical beats at the top.  I wasn't gonna post this but I've gotten so much feedback from folks who just loved it... so here we go! Party Wave!- Portland Ecstatic Dance

In this first dance of the New Year 2026, I chose to invoke Ganesha, the Remover of Obstacles, the Giver of Strength to Persevere, and the One who is always invoked First in any auspicious endeavor.  This set has sprinkles of mantra, but also lots of BASS, lots of Baille funk, Middle Eastern sounds... and as always, some surprises.  The dancefloor was literally bouncing so hard I had to hold my laptop on its stand in places. This set LIT the dancefloor on fire.  Please enjoy!
