An old song I picked up again and rewrote.

(Still trying out different recording techniques until I find the one that works best.)

Have A Lovely Rest

This song tells the tale of Benny The Ghost.





Lyrics:

A place no living sould would seek.
Where skeletons dance,
and pumpkins speak.
A little Ghost named Benny Bath,
stumbled across a graveyard path.
A graveyard path.

Oh tiny was he, Benny the Ghost,
so what could he do 
against the graveyards host.
Frozen in shock,
and shocked in freeze.
There was no sign
of Bennies fear cease.

Moonlight and luck,
they both shone through,
when Benny the Ghost let out
— one big BOO! 

Impressed as he was,
the host, I mean. 
He would never set Ben free.
Never. He wouldn´t ever do it.
He wouldn´t.

Benny The Ghost

A softer one.




Lyrics:

A thousand years had passed,
when the new king arrived.
There´s a lot to happen
in a thousand years.
Full of joy, the people grabbed their torches
to celebrate.

“All Hail The New King!
We´re finally saved!”

Out of people — he made slaves.
And out of pigs belonging in a cave anyway , he made men.
People, he made slaves.
The pigs became men.

This King had brought nothing but pain.
So the torches went out,
and from the darkness a young boy stood up,
with his fist held high.
Surrounding him the people, that were brought to their knees..

What about the people?
Don't you feel any shame?

The king was to be burned.
And the young boy was named: The New King.
