Food for the Soul,

There are certain things in our world that inspire life. Spending time with friends, adventuring, partying; everyone has different foods for their souls. 

In my debut independent single, I was on a search to emulate the euphoria of life that makes your cheeks blush and sends chills down your spine. Music, especially electronic music, evokes an animation for life in me. It is a community of people connected on an energetic wavelength, where the regular struggles of day-to-day life become invisible. No judgement, just an experience with the music. 

I'm at a crossroads in my life. I am a senior about to graduate from USC. When I started producing in high school, I was awful – making terrible song after terrible song. A few times I gave up, but I consistently found myself coming back to the music. Six years later, I am ready to share my art and vision with the world. I didn't force it. I didn't make music with the goal of being popular. I have given my all in pushing myself to reach my full creative potential. 

From songwriting and producing this track, filming this video on my Super 8 in Indonesia, developing the film, and editing in Premiere; I have been in full creative control.

I hope this song resonates with you. It is the advent of a project with years of work behind the scenes that I am finally ready to emerge from the shadows and see the light.
