On October 17th, the much-anticipated DGTL Paradise will break loose during ADE. Next to Jamie Jones’ tight crew of DJs, some spots were reserved for world-class acts not necessarily connected to the Hot Creations imprint. One of those artists is Sam Geiser, aka Deetron. This Swiss-born DJ/producer has constructed some classic cuts that find the perfect blend between the rough edges of house music and clinical techno. Ian Pooley - DGTL Podcast #19

Having shined a light on a number of lesser known DJs and producers, we now turn to one many people know and love: Mr Roman Flügel. The German producer has amassed a enviably varied discography over the last twenty years. With various different monikers from Acid Jesus to Eight Miles High, Warp69 to Alter Ego, he has turned out acid, techno, electro, IDM, artful electronic sounds and more unnamable genres beside. As well as co-founding three labels in Ongaku Musik, Klang Elektronik and Playhouse, he has released on Dial, Cocoon and Live At Robert Johnson, sis a veritable pillar of the global underground scene. 

The mix we have from him is a live recording of his set at Lente Kabinet from back in May 2015. As such it is a two hour ride through his singular sound that effuses colourful synth lines and kinked drums, at one moment gliding along an airy groove before then sinking down into a gritty and mechanical world of grinding gears and punchy kicks. Few DJs take as many risks, and pull them off as successfully as Flügel, so this is a real treat indeed.

swayzak chaps back in the day on the good ole groovetech , which was a wee bit ahead of its time for internet radio , some would say the music was ahead of its time too .  playing gems that ended up on our groovetech mix album + our fabric 11 cd , both fairly influencal in the spread of deep minimal music to the masses ! well i would say that ............this is 3rd mix that exists still , other two will be uploaded in due course . enjoy

We're super happy to present a very special Lobster Podcast from Belgrade's Tijana T. Having seen her play many times with the Lobster fam this year - at Corsica or at a last minute surprise gig in Barcelona - there's no doubt Tijana is one of our very favourite DJ's. 

This mix contains the perfect dose of energetic house and techno bangers to start your week, mixed seamlessly and blended together in a manner that never lets the momentum drop.

In Tijana's words:  It was a mix I somewhat spontaneously recorded at home, actually a couple of hours before heading to the airport. There was no plan or tracklist prepared, it's a collection of tracks I enjoyed listening around that time and some I played very often during this summer season. I imagine this mix to be perfect for night driving on the open road by the sea. Perfectly if you are alone or with someone you can just sit silently.
