About DJ VELA 
After co-founding the electronic music scene in Sofia, Bulgaria, VELA moved to Berlin in 1998 and is since then an integral part of Berlin’s club life, with past dj-residencies in Maria am Ostbahnhof, Tresor, About Blank to mention but a few, and with current projects such as the PRIZM BERLIN Collective (Music Politics Feminism) and the AUTOPOIESIS Collective (all FLINTAQ* lineups).
VELA has also years long experience as a radio host (Berlin’s pirate radio station TwenFM, BLN.FM, dj-sets.com etc), as well as music producer, both for the dance floor and for theatre productions.

“My music style gradually changed through out the years from BreakBeat to Techno. But it was always, and still is, best described as "I’m-going-to-kick-your-arse-onto-the-dance-floor-and-you-will-like-it-and-beg-for-more!!!“

Stefan Muchte is a DJ based in Berlin and member of the collective "Insel der Visionen". Raised in Würzburg, he made his first experiences in electronic music in Munich, where he played at well-known clubs as Harry Klein, Bahnwaerter Thiel &amp; Bob Beaman. With his diversified style for DJ sets, sometimes of abstract origin, he creates a symbiosis similar to the situation on the dance floor with perfectly balanced tracks. No one can promise in which direction it will continue, crossovers between rolling deephouse and oriental breakbeat are not unusual with this man.

After moving to Berlin in 2021, his style direction has changed more and more to ,,IndieDance’’ and ,,DarkDisco’’ and still counts as his main genre today. He loves the variety in his sets, but above all the influence of special elements, always underlined with an addiction for Rhythm &amp; Groove. No matter where this all-rounder stands at the decks, the crowd is dancing. Much to the delight of people who are discerning and open to new emotions on the subject of music.

BSV: Hello bro! Thanks for this groovy mixtape! It’s been a while, but we are happy to have you here alongside other visionaries.
BIASSUS: Hellooo! Thanks so much for the invitation, it's nice to share music with you! 🙏

BSV: Did you schedule your “indoor” South America season?
BIASSUS: I spent 4 months in my region of birth producing events, festivals, charitable activities, giving courses and classes in dj and production. Today I just arrived on the Brazilian coast of Balneário Camboriú for a schedule and in May I’m going for an international tour in Peru.

BSV: Tell us something about your connection with @alezmusic and your upcoming @beatsoundvisions release. 
BIASSUS: I met Alez the first time I went to Lima. There we met, produced songs and played at some parties. Last year we produced collabs and I went to Peru again where we toured together. After that he came to Brazil with me and we activated the electronic music scene here.

BSV: If we dig deeper into your press kit, we can assume that you are an graduated IT expert. Is that true?
BIASSUS: Yes! It’s true, I graduated in that area but the passion for music took over everything and at the moment I’m taking another degree to have contact with university students and publicize my events to a younger audience, educate us musically...

BSV: Are you a traveler? Where is your home studio?
BIASSUS: Yes, I don’t stay more than months in the same place. I have a studio set up in my hometown, another one on the beach, but I usually travel and produce with headphones.

BSV: How was this mix recorded?
BIASSUS: I recorded this mixtape in my hometown studio. I played the audio from the mixer on the computer while playing the cdj's. I wanted to present in a very dancing line of sound, deep tech, minimal and progressive.

BSV: No doubt about the vibes with “Life Journey”. Fingers crossed! 🤞
BIASSUS: I have a good feeling about this release!
