Since we like to bring people together and are always eager to hear new combinations of talent, we have the honor of witnessing Florian team up with another family member, Mr Kevin Knapp, of recent Hot Creations fame, who delights us again both with his freshly honed production skills and with his perfect voice in yet another couple club pleasers.
"The Block" is a heavy drum jacker, with a grooving bassline and deep overall vibe topped with a cool synth stab progression where Kevin gets on the mic with a combination of inspired rappin and speech stabs that turn a track into a whole trip experience. 

On a similar synth driven tip "Home" gets more of Mr Knapps rap licks and a very phat bubbly analog bass action for great effect. 
Florian and Kevin seemed to have struck a balance both as CO-Producers and as mates that is evident in their music productions.

To wrap up the package we brought Defected's established underground hit makers Flashmob from Italy for remix duties, and they truly delivered turning around "The Block" into a raw drum machine chicago inspired acidic track.

A killer release by some of the industries most respected names, can't be missed!

November sees Matt Tolfrey's Leftroom celebrate ’10 Years of Leftroom’ - a selection of exclusive tracks, remixes and collaborations from the label family.

A defining factor in the careers of artists like Laura Jones, Subb-an, Audiojack, Jasper James and Kate Simko as well a home from home for established acts like DJ Bone, Jay Haze and Steve Lawler, Leftroom is undoubtedly one of the UK’s most influential house/techno imprints. Always pushing forward, adapting and influencing movements within electronic music, Leftroom and it’s label boss Tolfrey count an enormous amount of DJs, clubs and punters as fans, evident when glancing over tour dates or glowing promo reaction sheets.

The ten tracks of ’10 Years of Leftroom’ neatly encapsulate what the label is and has been about - underground music that reflects the discerning taste of its curator. There’s new material from label boss Matt Tolfrey, Route 94, Guti and Hearthrob, there are updates on career defining cuts from Audiojack and Kate Simko plus heavyweight remixes from Chez Damier, Optimo and Mr. Fingers.

Today, we premiere the MR. KS remix of Laura Jones, 'Love In Me'. Also, accompanying the 10 tracks will be a mix from Tolfrey himself and a 10 Years of Leftroom tour, having already checked in at a handful of festivals and overseas club shows, goes into full swing in the Autumn.

Great to see the Scotish producer Funk D'Void return in full power with a brand new techno package titled Feels So Good.  The Feels So Good packages contains 4 remixes of which, except for the original mix, our favorite one is definitely Brett Gould remix. 

Brett Gould's remix strips the track down to the beautifully building tech house floor filler while keeping the signature piano hook and the hypnotic vocal loop. 

ON IT Recordings continue to gather serious momentum as they welcome the mighty Funk D'Void to the label with his potent new single 'Feels So Good'. A hypnotic journey into melodic Techno, Funk D’Void uses a classic 90’s vocal sample laid over lush synths and warm bass underpinned by driving percussion to work the floor. The package also includes a hefty set of remixes from Tuff London, who inject an arpeggiated synth line that builds with thick strings, ripe for the big room; Brett Gould's playfully journeys between Techno and Progressive with a remix armed with a rolling bassline, driving percussion and a melodic synth hook. Label boss ONYVA’s delivers a distinctive percussive, almost tribal tech groove led remix and for the deeper floors ON IT's Mark Holmes layers percussion with hooky, syncopated loops, building into a sublime atmospheric break, before jumping back into the groove.

With a discography that spans over 20 years, Funk D'Void's contribution to the dance music arena has been huge! His productions have graced labels such as Bedrock, Cocoon, Electrik Soul, Missile, Octopus, Suruba, Tronic, Tulipa and Urbantorque, as well releasing on his own label, Outpost Recordings. His remix repertoire is equally as impressive, having crafted reworks for New Order, Underworld, Kevin Saunderson, Deetron, Laurent Garnier, Paul Van Dyk, Shlomi Aber, Stephan Bodzin, Ian Pooley and Technasia, to name a few. He's also also compiled and mixed for acclaimed compilation series Balance and Cocoon. In between holding down a busy global tour schedule, Funk D'Void is always working in the studio and has new remixes for M.I.G., Ken Ishii and Weisses Licht forthcoming in the Autumn.

ON IT Recordings is a new evolving forward thinking UK based record label owned by burgeoning producer ONYVA. So far the label have featured release from Jey Kurmis, Hott Like Detroit and ONYVA himself, along with remixes from Funk Agenda, Vibe Killers and Barber.

Berlin based producer Robosonic combines with Dutch producer Ferreck Dawn to release on Kittball Records this October, with two originals and remixes from Guz and Deepshakerz.

With an extensive back catalogue including releases on Get Physical, Defected and Simma Black, Cord Labuhn aka Robosonic has garnered a reputation for producing high quality house influenced by the sounds of US Hip Hop and soul, whilst Amsterdam raised Ferreck Dawns lengthy career has seen a plethora of releases on the likes of Relief and Toolroom.

This collaborative release fully encompasses the fresh and deep sound of Kittball Records.The duos Nine to Phife offers delectable piano riffs on top of layered of vocal samples, metallic percussion and spaced out pads, before Were There demonstrates hypnotic melodies and ethereal atmospheres that create space for the vocal to be warped, whilst skilfully crafted drum loops underpin the composition.

Next up, Amsterdam based Guz contributes his take on Nine to Phife as airy utterances of the tracks title float above an elastic bass hook and powerful rhythms, before Italian duo Deepshakerz close the release in style with their remix of Were There, utilising an infectious melody that smoothly interacts with modulated vocal licks.

The masterful Italian duo, NiCe7 aka Nicola Daniele and Cesare Marocco, showcase their production finesse with two deep and captivating tracks for their Rebellion debut,  Real Love EP.

Prepare to be seduced by the lustful vocal hook on opener  Real Love  as they shape a bold, heavy-set roller. It’s a balancing act of production that perfectly highlights the duo’s dexterity in arrangement, who explain,  “ we’re really happy to release on Rebellion, after our last EP on Crosstown Rebels.  ‘Real Love’  is a kinda typical NiCe7 track, with a hooky vocal loop, rolling groove and a heavy bassline, with ethereal atmosphere.”  Whereas, on the flip side, “‘ To The Beat’ is quite different, with a prominent female vocal that sits amongst deeper elements, a minimal groove and a fat bassline.”

NiCe7  are a prolific production and DJ duo, with releases on a who’s who of labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Snatch!, Noir, as well their own D-FLOOR MUSIC, which they run with Leon. They are previous winners of best tech house record at the Beatport Awards for  Point  (Gruuv Records), and their inventive, dynamic productions and bountiful remixes have seen them win fans and admirers from across the world during their 10 year career.

NiCe7 - To The Beat

Its been a little over four years since Kellerkind released his first song to the public ear. Sirion Records gladly offered him the platform to do so then and achieved the project "Bergluft" together, which received massive credits worldwide. This was the kick-off to his music career and was followed by many releases on renowned labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Flash Rec. or Hive Audio. Nevertheless he remained active with Sirion Records as well through remixes for other projects or also with his own vinyl release "Altro Mondo". The possibility to tell an extended story is the appeal of making an album for Kellerkind. This is his chance to introduce tracks that arent mainly focused on being "dance floor" music. He integrates this quite aptly and constructively into the album. The rather simple track titles represent moving moments in his musical development. Starting off with a quite jazzy number he makes full circle back to his roots in disco on the dance floor. As the title of the main track says "Disco on the Dancefloor" is ideally suited fort he dance floor with is groovy bass and poignant disco stabs, ready to thrill the masses. The rhythm and atmosphere of this song make summer approach just a little quicker. Continuing with "Its Like" - a rather raw number, shaped by its driving bass line, which takes the buildup of the album further and with its compelling vocals manages to contrast from classic deep- tech house songs. Kellerkind cranks it up with "Triple Distilled" - organs, trumpets, flutes and synchs. A truly musical piece, destined to make you dance. "Its 2AM" keeps that pace of movement. The catchy voices add that something special to the song. "Backflash" is next - this track also appeared on Kellerkinds recently released EP on Stil Vor Talent. Mighty sounds, staged dramatically - a perfect transition to "Play it Loud". Kellerkind relies entirely on melodic bass line at the center of this track and its strong sub bass to pull you in. The precisely placed, bizarre vocal cuts maintain the songs diversity and tension. This is one not to be missed on the dance floor. Concluding the Album shouldnt get your heart pumping, but rather melting into deeper, quieter tracks in which the artist takes us. The final track, the perfect ending to the album, is an incredibly melancholic chord sequence added to a cozy beat. Truly a successful, exciting, well told story. With their variations, the bonus tracks are an excellent addition to Kellerkinds signature style. None lesser than Channel X (Stil vor Talent), Animal Trainer (Stil vor Talent) and Jon Donson (Sirion Records) did the honors.
