Changing Faces had been meaning to make a tune with fellow Bratislava resident, Jimmy Danger, for ages and when he came up with the basic elements he knew that this tune was THE one. 

FREAK has the feel of an instant classic and is definitely one for both the Festival Skankers and the Kitchen Ravers. Changing Faces says, “I got inspired by artists like Vibe Chemistry and Bru-C and wanted to make something very streaming friendly and do something I've never done before to get out my comfort zone and experiment!”

Since his last release with us, Changing Faces has continued to gain momentum with a guest mix for Charlie Tee’s Radio 1 show and appearances at festivals including the massive Beats For Love in the Czech Republic and Tomorrowland. Hospital Records proudly present the debut standalone single ‘Kill The Lights’ from their current Women In Drum & Bass mentee [IVY], who has without a doubt been making serious waves on the dance music circuit this year. Making her first appearance on the label with ‘Love’ alongside Doktor, Qyor and Sudley, the Bristol-based producer & DJ has since had releases on Armada Music, Sony and Warner. Growing up amongst the free party scene in France, [IVY]’s rich musical influence is the perfect storm comprised of old school rave meets new-gen D&B.

‘Kill The Lights’ is an addictive slice of sonic euphoria as [IVY] pieces together melodic Korg M1 synth hits with delicate vocal chops and pulsating bass frequencies. Don’t get too comfy though - the second half of this fresh drum & bass cut has a turbo-charged surprise in classic [IVY] fashion for the second half.
