Made this mix for my yearly guest appearance on KEXP's long running electronic music show, Expansions for Sharlese last December. I started out wanting to make a moody, EBMish, synthed out mix... but when all was said and done, it turned out all hot and bothered (So much so, that Sharlese almost yanked it off air in mid mix during the sexed up Jamie Principle vocals...lol). The joke was that the mix was going to give someone the wrong idea, hence the name.  Enjoy!!!

Tremulant wandering throughout deep space. Scans pulse beating lush sounds from local pulsar. Mega waves of radio interference. Scanning. Something making some serious groove here. We have detected... PLANEMO! Every episode we hop aboard our spaceship and search the galaxy to discover fresh and exciting sounds for the people of earth...

About a year ago in the Snowmageddon™ of early 2021 I holed up in the house with some friends after a day of sledding, had a little snack (😅🍄🙃) and proceeded to record 5+ hours of tunes. The original title was White Zinfin-Dale’s Super Slomo Solo Journey (🤣). After listening to it a few times I decided this might be right up Tremulant’s alley to put out for a mix. It only took Joe a year to listen to it and come around… but listen to it and come around he did. My cat and I would be so pleased if you gave the mix a whirl. Whether he is freaking you out with sinister, heady, darker tunes or lifting you up to euphoric heights with life-affirming blissful ones, to consider him a mere ‘local legend’ does not even begin to address how essential a leader he is in the local dance music scene. When we think of the Seattle scene and its enormous lot of technicians and trailblazers for our DJ community, make no mistake: Big Daddy ‘Deejah is at its forefront.🔊
