Nigerian Afrobeat Type Beat - 'OYO' (Prod. By ATB)

As the final piece of her 25th anniversary, DJ Isis is now presenting her new project ‘Isis & Mozes’ to the world. Their debut EP 'OSTARA' is released April 12th, 2018 at KROOKS Records. OSTARA is the outcome of an intensive collaboration with her new studio partner Mozes.

On OSTARA, Isis & Mozes worked with different musicians, instrumentalists, and vocalists. These are the key ingredients that formed the basis for the compositions made by @isismozes. In addition to the electronic parts of the compositions, Isis & Mozes used different types of instruments featuring Mozes on guitar and Isis on vocals.

Besides their own compositions, one of the tracks on OSTARA is produced in collaboration with colleague-producer and dj: @tripjag. In addition, the producers-trio @yorkultura made a hefty remix of their track Aerial for the EP. More info on the EP: www.krooks-records.com/album/isismozes-ostara

Isis & Mozes - Aerial ( Yør Kultura Remix )

We are happy to present Vincent Gericke’s first EP “Fierce Intent”, which is going to be released on the 22nd of June. It will also be the first EP to be published on trndmsk Records. Furthermore, trndmsk Records is going into slower directions after a two-year break and Vincent Gericke seems to be the perfect fit to reopen this project. He has not only convinced with several mixtapes in the past but has also been putting a lot of focus on music production lately and some of the results can be heard in the EP. The EP consists of four Original Tracks and three remixes from Sarkis Mikael, Elfenberg and Landhouse & Raddantze. The first two tracks serve as a touching and slowly building beginning with a lot of emphasis on instruments such as Pianos, Guitars or the Armenian Duduk while soft synthesizers transition to the last two tracks that are a bit more forward going.

There is something called Asthu. Imagine it like a Casper flying next to you. It's there all around us. It's like the Indian version of guardian Angel. 
However, the difference is the Asthu is slightly laid back but disciplined. And it doesn't have a judgmental ability of its own. Rather, it respects you so much that it leaves the job to you and doesn't question. It won't choose for you. It won't know whether you mean it or not. 
Sometimes you say things you don't mean but it will make it come true. E.g. You wonder what if someone steals your footwear from outside temple, Asthu will bring the attention of a thief to your footwear and it will be gone. Sometimes it will miss listening to you.

So when you say something followed by tathastu, it means you have thought so much about what you are saying and calling the attention of Asthu to work along with you to make it come true. So, always be mindful of what you think and say. 
The literal meaning in English is ‘So be it' or 'apadiye aagatum' or 'apadiagapatathu' in Tamil.

Time Travel EP – Story about travel in time, identity changes, transmutations and the meaning of dreams.

„People” - A little goodness is hidden in every bad person and a little darkness is up there in every good person. The track presents a journey in a dark purple color similar to wandering in the fog, during which we meet various human souls, filled with such feelings as hope, fear, fragility and nostalgia.

„Transmutation” – Welcome in the crazy machine which pulsates like a living organism.
The transformation of matter from one form into a completely different one requires something of the same value. What if the payment is all your memories..?

„Time Travel” - A transcendental journey in which the next gates gradually open until we can go through the portal. The whole journey is accompanied by confusion related to the combination of two completely different dimensions, between which you can jump in the company of plasma flares. A fleeting touch of a higher being.

„Rotten Wood” - Rotting in a dream symbolizes uncertainty and growing problems for which there is no solution. Avoiding it without touching means bypassing it, which gives you a sense of burden.
Sometimes it is needed to go through that kind of trip so that we can appreciate how beautiful is to have a well-structured life.

Kadent was born on the outskirts of Berlin. He started producing and DJing music in his youth. He became part of the 2nd generation of club culture in the late 90s and early 2000s - in 2001 he moved to Berlin. Starting with Berlin Techno and moving on to house music, his sound became slower and slower over the years. Today, Kadent feels at home in downbeat - his style is organic, emotional, deep, driving, bass-heavy and filter-sweeping.
