Pulse One:
Influenced by the music of artist like Regis, Surgeon, Oscar Mulero, Jeff Mills and others; this artists began to develop electronic music production since late 2011. Studying contemporary music production such as the use of synthesizers and drummachines, also new musical structures and experimental,without forget the importance of classical music theory, pulse one represents his vision of contemporary dance music.

Souvenir Music is the Berlin-based label of Schwarz brothers known as Tiefschwarz with well over twenty years of influence with their deep, edgy and atmospheric techno.

The Imaginary Realities EP is is the latest offering from Simone Gatto who co-owns Out-ER Recordings and has releases on Curle, Monocline amongst others. He seems to live in a realm of abstract rhythms and dreamy tones with a wonderful and diverse selection of originals on show.

The other half of the Out-ER label also appears on the release, Distant Echoes brings a heavier rework to “Primal Reality” incorporating alternating sections of broken beats and straight four-to-the-floor grooves. Dubby and spacious, his expert construction is a delicate and inspirational take that combines compelling sound design with emotional connection.

Based in the Romanian capital of Bucharest - one of the world's main crossroads of Underground Electronica, Kiddo's take on Electronic music in general is that it represents a vast and complex journey.

One in which somebody can find himself. It requires some of the most open and out of the box minds, in order for it to be properly understood and felt.

What gives Kiddo the right to speak freely about this and to be taken seriously into consideration as a valid opinion, is a 20 years experience in listening, searching, selecting and finding the best possible electronic tracks which are the goldnuggets of electronica, ranging from low beat-rate genres such as Lo-Fi, Lounge, Budha Bar etc, to the highest beat rate genres such as Trance (in its glory days), Techno in all of it's forms and Hard-Core (taking as a reference point the legendary German compilations Schranz Total from the 2000's) and anything in between. Dub, House, Tech-House, Deep-House, Electro, DnB, Detroit Techno & the Berlin counterpart, and last but not least, the eclectic and classy sound of the formerly named genre "REM" (Romanian Electronic Music), now named officially Ro-Minimal, including Experimental Electronic Music.

Almost nothing has escaped the mind and ears of Kiddo in terms of Electronica. He has dedicated himself throughout life in promoting quality Underground Electronic Music as a whole, in front of anyone who in a short-minded thinking regarded the genre as being "repetitive and boring", by firmly insisting that they are simply missing the point and lack the necessary patience in finding the right tracks that go with the flow together with finding beauty in a type of music that Kiddo considers to be the only real music in this world.

This while giving credit and respect where it's due in regards to any top class band and singer from the mainstream stage, who has shown mastery in the art of composing and creating music through classical instruments and vocal. Nevertheless, given the complex train of thought and technical skills necessary for someone to engage in Electronic Music, Kiddo divides music generally in 2 categories: Electronic Music and the rest.

All of the above being stated by always remaining into the "Underground" spectrum, which many have tried to dilute and take advantage of for they're own financial gain together with DJs and producers from the past who left the "Underground Community", that is NOT defined by events and gigs happening today at large scales with big audiences.

For the time being, Kiddo is not promoting himself as a DJ\Producer of any sort, and this BIO will be updated once this situation changes.

Kadenz is a music project by André Cruz - a portuguese born in 1982. Art was a constant factor on his life and from music till architecture it has an important role on his human experience. His project can be defined between techno, minimal and experimental electronica. With a big interest in hypnotic and mathematical atmospheres but also in order and repetition, these feelings translates his music style. Nowadays he’s working on future releases so ... stay tuned!
