This week I decided to try covering my favorite song off of the new, debut The Black Queen song, "That Death Cannot Touch." The track has been a frequent agitator on my car stereo since it's release a few weeks ago.

I am, mostly happy with this track. It's WAY more rough sounding than the original, but that makes sense, as I think I only got to spend about 7 or 8 hours on this one.

Vocally this was kinda a moonshot for me. I have never tried...like...really singing on a track before. It was usually just yelling and distortion and stuff. The original singer has a crazy good voice, and sings the chorus in a falsetto (which I do not attempt). I get to really belt it out at the end and I think it came out a bit silly sounding, but I can't really be objective about my voice. I certainly enjoyed doing it though.
