Kaer Morhen is a two-piece instrumental band formed in 2010 by Fabio Sparagna and Piero Taddeo, guitars and drums respectively. As their main aim’s always been experimenting new sounds to express themselves, they decided to mix epic orchestral music with metal, along with folk and medieval elements, in order to deliver the right amount of ‘epicness’ to their work.

Their passion for the european cultures and fantasy literature inspired Kaer Morhen for the development of their first album “The Awakening”, released in 2014; it contains five tracks, all composed and arranged by themselves, even for the symphonic and folk sections.
