A song I recorded last year, and uploaded before I took it down again soon after. I came across it today and decided to put it back up again. It does have a calming atmosphere that I like, even though it's pretty sloppy and simple.

Tried to do something slower and more mellow, and also with some more interesting chord choices. A bit inspired by early Thomas Dolby as well.

All synth sounds from Prophet 6, guitar parts are from a Fender Telecaster and the drums are samples from a LinnDrum.

Bike

A track I made mostly to mess around with my new Bass Station II. Not very polished or anything, and some of the playing (all by hand) is a bit sloppy. Gear used:

Out There

Some different ideas merged together. The end choiry part was kind of stuck on there, but it sounded to cool to leave out. It kind of works as an outro I think.

Shore

Very 80s retroish again, a very simple track by all means. Sort of ran out of ideas, so there isn't much variation here. Instruments used:

Pads and arpeggio track: Juno (clocked by TR-606)

Guitar: Fender Telecaster

First track with the Udo Super 6! I was playing around with the custom waveforms on it, and that nice swelling pad in the beginning popped out. That kind of set the tone for this track. Tried to have some more variety in chords and key changes as well.

It's raining outside, so I got a bit inspired. The rain/thunder effect might be a bit over the top :p

My goal here was to try and create an atmospheric and maybe a bit haunting track. The chord progression isn't the most original or anything, but I think it suits the track.

Another idea I'm working on. The only thing I really like about it is the arpeggio pattern. Not so sure about the other stuff (especially the guitar).

Tried to capture a nightly vibe, but it evolved into something else I think.

Natt

Thought I'd do something different for a change, and to explore my Juno further (yes, it's a simple synth, but I still manage to be surprised by some sounds I can come up with on it). I'm trying to force myself to use the built in chorus less, as it colors the sound in a very particular way that gives everything this overtly sweet (and very 80s) sound. It doesn't quite fit in when you try to do something more dark or mysterious.

Very Jarre-ish. I was messing around with the Juno's arpeggiator and the TR-606 when the arpeggio pattern in the beginning came up, and it sort of evolved from there. 

The Sphere

A little track I did today/night. It started when I got inspired by this swept bass sound: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GI6HxIiH1g and it sort of got developed from there. The guitar was added too fill in, but maybe it's too much. 

(There's a slight hum on the bass recording. Audacity couldn't do much about it, and I'm too lazy to do it over again...)

Swim

Something more dreamy and relaxing (?) again. Not the most eventful song I've made, but it's more about the atmosphere. Some of the guitar playing is a bit sloppy (those harmonics are very easy to mess up), but I've wasted enough time trying to get it right now :p.

Into The Sunset

My mixer/interface is broken, so it's back to basics again.. This is something I've been working on during the last few days. It's sort of in the same vein as the track "Voll" I did almost exactly a year ago. It's still WIP, I might be adding some more stuff, and maybe some bass guitar. 

Something

All kinds of stuff... Many of the tracks, especially the older ones, are noisy and suffer from pretty bad sound quality and mixing, but I've decided to keep them on here anyway.
