His consciousness was crushed by the pressing weight of infinity, a heavy darkness that pressed against his mind until he was nothing – immersed in the void. Thin tendrils of awareness crept back back to him, he didn’t recognise his surroundings.. a black forest loomed oppressively in his view with scattered points of light between the gnarled and twisted trunks of those bleak trees. They were moving.. more of them appearing in the dusk-like light of this obscure realm.. he could make out their bodies – almost formless, morphic entities gathering in the blackness pushing towards him. Quickly pulling himself up, he drew his blade before him, hacking at the closest horror with its gaping, ghastly appendages and slicing it apart. Sensing death the horrors moved with sudden speed, slaves to the dark eternity of this place.. seeking to mangle and deform, extricate the shivering life from warmer beings. Their touch was deathly, abrasively tearing at his skin… Velok focussed, cutting apart his new enemy tirelessly, ending them mercilessly until he remained alone.. panting under the infernal skyvoid.

Spoon Melter came together by recording & processing a detuned banjo, block flute, and basslines from the Arturia Microfreak. The vibe of the track made me think of a fierce yet sarcastic creature.

Beloved inductee Stellar Dendrites returns to Unbeyond Anthologies with a truly incredible double single, “nonphysical / outnumber”.

Markedly more somber and downtempo than past outings from the artist, this new A/B still features the hallmarks of Stellar Dendrites’ instantly memorable sound. Swaths of nostalgic synthwork, soothing atmospheres, and tightly polished, ethereal production are abound in this release. “nonphysical” is a 4-on-the-floor cut with understated yet tense songwriting and truly idiosyncratic synths, while “outnumber” is a sparse downtempo masterstroke through and through.

“These are a couple of tracks I made last fall. I was very scared and lonely when I made them, and that reflected in the composition compared to my other work. My worldview and state of mind have changed in ways that I never could have expected back then, but I still felt it right to share this music from that time. Now, as I work towards becoming the person that could have helped my past selves, the tracks have taken on an entirely new meaning.” said Stellar Dendrites.

“The world is still a terrifying place, and will remain so. Genocides and atrocities rage on, and the most cruel people only grow more proud of their foul nature. The calls for violence towards our world's most vulnerable can be deafening, but in no place are they the only sounds that can be heard. hi this album art pic is not me, it’s chloe! @user-182505760?p  🤍 worked in the music for only a day and a half my bad guys its kinda a rushed job. i was in the hospital for 3 days recently and still reccovering a lil, but the field recording is by chloe, and i added a gaming clip too of our win celebration with miranda on apex legends at the end. our first win with all 3 of us. gang. chloe hasnt made music before (unless she has a secret DJ alter ego i dont know about) haha, but yeah i really honestly pressured her to make a music name and put it on this song. i just think its cool, for me, writing this it was  inspired by just hanging with the girls and hearing about what was going on with her, and it would of been made without that experience just listening so i think its an important part of the song and deserves credit, even if she didnt produce the track. she added alot in my mind, and even offered up this cool picture for the album art :D after i heard the field recording of chloe’s neighborhood it inspired me to change the whole direction of the song but im really happy with what i did here and i hope it fills you guys with lots of energy to take charge of bad situations, and change them - even if its outside of your comfort zone, to learn to see how strong you are, and that you can do anything. - big love
